I'm still waiting on £500 from 7 pm yesterday. If they are working today, and other deposits are going through, then a little peeved after my delight yesterday. Don't forget that while transfers via Faster Payments are supposed to occur within 2 hours your bank actually has 2 working days to make the transfer - and its quite possible that some may find their bank delaying payments for internal checking especially if making multiple payments to the same payee..

 SS did say they were trialling the new Deposit Method... it might not be fully in place yet (I note many have received quick deposits, but I wonder if it is still be tweaked) I have this theory some members have seen the thread, seen SS OP, and assume the quick deposit Method is in place... without realising the OP by SS is almost 3 years old... From the Friday Update (2 days ago)...

I made a deposit at around 8.30 this morning, when I checked back just after nine it had been credited to my account.

whereas I am STILL waiting.......... (have sent an email). savingstream - where is my money? Does your bank process Faster Payments instantly at weekends? Some don't.

I'm with Santander, they do FP at weekends, I have checked with them - no delays. Had given up waiting, gone shopping and now.........still not in. It's one thing if they are just not processing them, but another when everyone else's is going through. Is it a case of Fee Line discrimination?

For what it is worth...
Sent money @ 21:30 (to resolved negative balance due to DFL019 allocation) and it was credited 5min later. Pretty good

I sent money at 20.55 to resolve negative balance and was credited at 21.00... I've made 3 transfers over the weekend and all have been done within 30 minutes...I'm well impressed!

If it's any consolation @leopardcat I'm in a similar, although not quite as prolonged, situation. Sent a deposit Santander FP 9:56 a.m today and nada in my account. As I've now sold more than enough to cover everything I'd quite like to be bringing it back out really  . Not sent them any emails yet, but if it doesn't turn up by tomorrow morning I will be. |

I suspect your specific payments have been held up for additional fraud checks which they are entitled to do - this is different from the FS system itself having no delays.. And sending emails to SS won't help as they won't have received the payments yet.

From Lloyds Sunday afternoon, within two hours transfer, less than five minutes to in SS.

Transfers made about 05:00 and again at 07:30. Nothing yet. Is it really automated?

I made a small test deposit last night around 10.30 and that has not appeared.
My hunch is that they are beta testing the process and switching between on, off and manual at will.
4 other test deposits made over the weekend went through on the half hour under the automated system.
