Not made a withdrawal from SS for a while but my recollection used to get it before 10am but made one last night and not yet received has anyone else received a withdrawal today ?

Mine was in the hundreds.

My partner deposited £500 on Monday pm which has still not hit her account. She sent two emails yesterday and a further one today but has had no reply whatsoever and is becoming very concerned. Anyone else in this type of predicament? Any ideas on how to progress it further?

The withdrawal request made early this morning, was processed at 12:31pm. Similar to Monday. I'm happy with that.  EDIT: Actually, I'm not happy. The email to say it's been processed arrived at 12:31PM, but the money hasn't arrived as of 13:40PM  EDIT EDIT: The money has arrived about 1hr 50mins after getting the email. Now I'm happy.

Interesting to see what ensues. Although I do think that not responding to emails on such a fundamental matter is unforgivable.

I've been in the same predicament quite a few times - I have never received a reply to my emails until after the money finally arrives and then I get the anodyne email that all is ok, with no recognition of the money being missing for days. Never had any luck on the phone - outsourced to people who just take a message, usually mangling it in the process, then sending on an email. (part of "employ the unemployable" initiative I think) Quite agree. That was why I was reticent in advising her to phone but left with little option. The land of SS reconciliations must make for interesting viewing

I was doing some banking this morning and sent a small amount to Col. About 10 minutes later when I had finished I was about to log on to Col to advise of the deposit when I noticed an email had arrived. It was Gordan telling me that he had noticed my deposit arrive and advising that I should log on and input the advice as the process was automatic.
Next time I will have all my ducks lined up so I don't keep them waiting!

But did fill in the input advice immediately.

Had to chase this..... problem was I made 2 deposits for the same amount on the same day so SS assumed it was a duplicate and cancelled one..... money still left my account. Don't deposit the same amount twice on the same day is the advise given. I have the money credited now but nothing I fancy buying… More than 24 hours now for a deposit to show have e mailed them and no reply yet... never had a problem before now. Was hoping to snap up some more 12% long time to run loans.... so all very good saying how it's improved and instant deposits..... unfortunately it hasn't worked for me at all. |

Just 2 days ago, regarding faster deposits Paul64 said : "We have now taken it down to evaluate its performance and to complete final testing ahead of a full launch to be confirmed in a few days' time."Maybe SS did this quicker than expected and the faster deposit system is fully up and running now. Anyone else made a deposit today ?
