Same here. No access since last night. Does anyone at Zopa monitor this forum?

I don't know if they monitor the forum. They probably do. Anyway, I have dropped them an email to report the problem and provided a link to this thread.
Edited to add: Have tried both android and windows now, with chrome. Still no joy.

don't work on opera either - only use this as backup so not cache issue. the site is up but probably running other processes that are making the front so slow and its timing out with the wrong message I did check the site on this link - very interesting although most of it I didn't understand. builtwith.com/secure2.zopa.com(Edit: I did check it on a website I knew what tech the site used and its clear that its not just the website but the underlying stacks as well since the website I know only has minimal html stuff at a very basic level but this site showed all the underlying platform tech - in this case uk2 I think!) One thing to watch out with this zopa error is that you are still logged in and I'm not sure but I think you can come back later in the day and just click the myzopa button you may still be logged in. That seemed to be the case on my Tab S2 this morning (I don't save passwords in chrome either). I'll leave my desktop chrome open on the 500 page and see what happens later today.

I'm sure you are right about the basic nature of the problem. That fits what I'm seeing, although no "time out" message.
I think you can tell if you're logged in because the error 500 page has a "sign in" button at the top right (in Chrome on Windows and Android. Might vary I suppose). On a couple of occasions this morning I've noticed that it has changed to "sign out". If you click it, it changes back to "sign in", so hopefully it has at least logged you out correctly.

Edit got logged out again with same 500 problem message. 11.50am.

Have just got in to find I've picked up a bunch of Safeguard loans at horribly low rates (less than 2% on average). I wonder if they've been running some Rapid Return stuff? Edited to add: Well, that was short-lived. 500 error came up and it appears to have logged me out, while Mr M still can't get in at all. So don't get your hopes up

Just got in after rebooting the computer (for other reasons), not sure if that is why it now works or just luck, since others seem to have been able to get in. Edit: And now it's crashed, and I'm back to the 500 message. Managed to do what I wanted so giving up. Edit Crossed with misotu (twice) And Wapping35.

doesn't one lead to the other. Anyway I'm in now so I guess the backend routines taking all the resources have finished now

Yup, both Mr M and I are accessing the site with no problems. The lack of access is not impressive though. Far from it.

It's becoming a bit of a pain now. I suspect that the problem is the large numbers wanting to sell loans to transfer into the ISA. Why would anyone keep £20k in a tax-paying product when they can get basically the same products tax-free with a few clicks? And there's been no mention of the fee-free sales from legacy products into the ISA for weeks - I suspect that this has been ditched as 'mid-July' has been and gone. I'm just sending all repayments from 'Investing' to holding and then transferring them across to the ISA - matching seems quite fast.
