Phil, please don't do that. It's 2017. If you know it's 2017 then please get with it. There's a large section of the queer community that embrace the label queer and are seeking to normalise it in order to remove the stigma that people such as yourself attach to it by regarding or using it it as a pejorative.

That would certainly accord with how African-Americans appropriated their pejorative.

Does not make it right though phil look at standard rap talk introducing the n word. Same has been applied in explanation yet an mp using what is a common idiom including the word gets pilloried and punished. Personally couldn't care less either way. A word in isolation is just a word. Context and audience creates the effect leading to discomfort in the thought police. Each party has the right to free speech. Haven't they?
