Bit more detail: Moderator - edit, move, lock and delete posts and make threads sticky. Global Moderator - as Moderator plus deal with reported posts and manage members (edit existing groups and profiles; warn and ban members). Admin - keys to the front door

On second thoughts I agree there were too many levels, so I've deleted all the sub forums. We can add them back later if they're needed.

I've set all the boards to only allow posting by members, so I've opened up the forum so guests can read posts without logging in. Seemed a bit of a closed shop when you had to register and login just to read posts!

Now Andrew's stepped down as admin, please send me a PM if you'd like to volunteer to become an admin or a moderator.
Thanks

Thanks Chris!
Ahead of you on the groups - have set one up for "Employee of Assetz" and added yourself and Andrew. It needs to be part of the rules that employees of P2X companies identify themselves as you say so people can see they represent a company.

Hi all, I've offered to take on Admin responsibilities for the board at least in the short term. Andrew will stay on as a moderator just until there are a few more moderators in place, but will then relinquish that responsibility. elljay

The workload varies - the reported posts are flagged up to us and most spammers are dealt with by the current version of the board software, but there's a bit of manual work to do. I guess this board will be somewhat busier than the Zopa forums so the workload will be higher, but split across a number of moderators that shouldn't be an issue I'd have thought. I'm not familiar with ProBoards, but a quick look round the help files shows it seems to be very configurable.

Some structure up front is definitely good - it can always be adjusted later on.
