Hi all. If you have £1000 in your account and set the autolend to 20% what would happen? My guess would be nothing as the minimum of £1000 wouldn't be reached. Or would it invest £200 in 5 loans? Your guess is correct. £1000 is the minimum you can invest.

I recently withdrew all my funds from Elfin, for the reasons you give. The risk of default with unsecured consumer loans is bound to increase significantly IMO.
I transferred to LP and KUF.

Interesting update from 4th Way www.4thway.co.uk/candid-opinion/kuflinks-profitable-accounts/ KUF is now in profit for the first time, and expects to remain profitable. Good news. Less positively IMV, a) they will no longer be lending 5% (or taking first loss) in all loans. and b) all default interest is to be kept within the company, and not paid out to lenders.

This afternoon's email update was closely followed by another email from AO, advising us of a different loan soon to go live. The upcoming loan is to a dispute resolution company, E****a**,who is already a borrower with AO, and who reference cases relating to AO in their WIP.
Coincidence?

Sorry Ace there's no button on the left of my dashboard saying wallet transfer...is this a ISA related thing... When I select the "DASHBOARD" under "YOUR ACCOUNT there are a series of buttons on the left. "WALLET TRANSFER" is the second button for me, sandwiched between the red "TRANSFER IN ISA" and the green "DOWNLOAD OUR LENDER GUIDE" Buttons. Nope, no button for me either, no "wallet transfer", and I have no ISA. Must be a different layout if you do/don't have an ISA.

Lender money has become cheep and plentiful over many platforms. Popular methods of cash drag include.. Funds Invested and awaiting loan commencement (if it actually draws down) Funds in a holding pond awaiting for movement towards a possible % of a loan draw down. Funds in a Que securing a possible place to invest in the future. The loans were pitched with a specified start date. I know that delays can occur but CP should at least provide an explanation. Yes, I agree lender money is cheap and plentiful atm, but that doesn't mean lenders should not hold platforms to account.

The time lag in (some) loans drawing down is completely unacceptable. I am waiting 8 weeks and 6 weeks for loans from September to start. No interest paid, no explanation or update from CP.
CP's current push to grow their business, and their huge popularity among lenders, allows them to overlook these problems, but their inattention diminishes returns to lenders. And perhaps also increases our risk. Our risk, not their risk!
I have stopped investing with them for now. Will watch and wait

Tomorrow's T****rd loan is the phase 2 raise of a multi phase loan. Reading through today's summary, there is no info on how the phase 1 funds were spent. Lots of info on exotic birds, carriage horses, pet shop - but on progress with the development, nothing. I expect the loan will fill quickly, as all CP's loans do, but I will not be investing.

The business failed because it failed to secure its revenue grants from Ofgem in a timely manner. It always was a subsidy farming operation. One of the company pie charts clearly shows the bulk of projected revenues to come from subsidies. To be fair electricity generation always has been characterised by a very strange pattern of subsidies, including subsidies to fossil fuel burning long after they became clearly insane about thirty years ago.. My issues are more with Abundance, the paucity of information and dialogue with its clients and the differences between the various bonds issued on behalf of this nest of companies trading between themselves.Totally agree!

So unless I am mistaken I have not received any part of any of the last 4 loans via manual Autolend am I really unlucky (and I know luck should not have anything to do with it they use a "sophisticated algorithm" ) or is the only way to invest in proplend now to use the fully auto lend function and give up any control ? Likewise, me too. I assumed it was the same for everyone using manual autolend, but seemingly not. Maybe a problem with the algorithm.
