I have just set up a bank account with £1 in it.
As far as I can see they can only pay money into it. Any other action requires pass codes that only I can recieve ( I HOPE )
Will let you know if anything interesting happens.

not enough lenders/investors what ever they call us putting their funds in for them to lend out yet. maybe a £50/100 bonus for the first 500 lenders might get the show up and running. I have heard it all before. I will never put a penny into any P2P site no matter what they promise.

More than a little miffed at the left whingers etc protesting demanding "tories out" what is it with some of these people IMHO democracy = 1 person 1 vote and respect the result, not march with banners saying "not my prime minister" I'd guess some are the same ones demanding a revote over Brexit, so they like democracy when they get their way. personally I blame the culture in schools etc with the non competitive sports etc, meaning they don't know how to lose with good grace, because they are used to always winning I agree 100%. Democracy can only work if we all respect the vote.

Yes the first box needs to have CG&Co after the code, if that is the problem. Really bad login instructions. Yes that now works. Not sure what use the update is though. Can anyone translate into English?

I keep getting a "Site can't be reached" error messages when I try and download the attachment sent by the Administrators in their email of 5:56pm today. Has anyone else had this problem? I did try logging into the FS website to see if it was available directly from there, but doesn't seem to be. Yes same for me I just get a wrong password etc message when I try to log in. At one point I thought this was a scam or something like that.

The Lendy situation has clearly altered risk sentiments amongst P2P but it is wrong IMO to lurch from complacency to panic. Despite Brexit the UK economy is reasonably robust and should remain so in 2019. Sure there are some serious geo-political inspired market threats out there and a recession is almost inevitable at some stage in the near future. But if you are well diversified across various solid P2P providers ( cross referencing with this site/4th Way,Obvious Investor etc) and are not in just one sector but span Retail Lending <> B2B and Property ( with particular care!) then hopefully you can secure good returns this year and maybe next without wild levels of capital risk . P2P as a whole represents no more then 8--10% of my investments . Well -- that is my approach anyway Rodney ............. Not a question of will FC survive but more of can you make money. I was in 7 P2P sites and well diversified in all of them. Over 4 years I have made a loss in total though the figures have become so complex I am not able to quantify the loss with accuracy. In short I would have done better with 1 or 2% in NS&I and had no worries. In short I am out of all P2P

How many of the 22,000 investors are aware it's gone into administration?
I've yet to receive any direct notifications from the platform.
Just got back from a holiday and been out of touch for a week when I got the news. I was in collateral when it went down the drain and now Lendy as expected has gone. FS looks very sick with most of my investments late and MT a similar story. In short we are at the end of the P2P era. It will all limp along a bit longer as there are many who do not read this forum and have little idea what a mess it all is. I did manage to get money out and stopped investing in all P2P months ago but still left with a potential loss. Over several years of investing on many sites and much effort I expect the final rate of interest to be negative due to capital losses. Would have done better in the bank at 1.0% interest. I do feel sorry for the few sites that have made a real effort to be honest and fair to investors but they will suffer as a result of this state of affairs.

We now have another ridiculous post advertising fund recovery by Malaika. They have wised up and used a different fake name instead of the family name of their MD. Delia Ellis has two further reviews to her name in addition to the Lendy one. The text is the same in both. The lady seems to have been very reckless in her investing but been most fortunate to find a company that could recover her funds in an incredibly short time. It's only my complete faith in Lendy that stops me signing up. (Sorry. I thought I was in the positive thread for a moment then! ) I hope that all Lendy investers have had a look at the Trust Pilot reviews on Lendy re MALAIKA. All I can say is BARGE POLES.

JulyAugustSeptember4-8 weeks Before Xmas JanuaryFebruary MarchAprilIt's a shame Lendy and their enhanced recovery/communications team couldn't tell us the reasons why the refinance was delayed considering this loan was very close to repayment last July. It's funny how often these "close" refinances seem to completely fall apart and Lendy suddenly start speaking with people interested in purchasing the site. Shades of DFL001/DFL002 By now it must be obvious to all that any updates from Lendy are just works of fiction. Not just Lendy but on numerous other sites the same rubbish is being posted as to when the loans will repay. I for one am out of P2P lending. I am well diversed in many sites and have been for some years and the simple fact is that I would have done better in a savings account paying 1.5%. My final return will be NEGATIVE though it is impossible to give a figure untill all the loans are in the end defaulted or repaid.

Whilst I'm not keen on the term 'without limitation' I'm not sure there is much option. I just want whatever I can get back back then I can move on. I have also replied as soon as I got the Email. There are no other reasonable options.

I bet we see a new 5 star review soon thanking Lendy for all the wonderful investment opportunities and congratulating them on the silence that has occurred on many loans in the last few days The latest 5 star review on TP seems to think that ranking Lendy 126 out of 135 or something like that is good news? Have a look
