This umbrella for corrupted valuers should have been investigated and closed down long time ago. Yet another correct OzBoy Prophecy, my crystal balls are absolutely humungous now, and it's getting boring being right all the time ....... Just WHEN will most on here realise that you're being shafted & rinsed by all and sundry, and DO someting about it?

I think everyone on here will know my opinion of this Propaganda. I also note that the word " profession" and it's variations is mentioned three times.

Jailings MUST surely result from all this carp? Otherwise I see the peasants turning up with pitchforks and firebrands on the FCA's doorstep.
Quite rightly.

"We are writing to provide you with an update in relation to your complaint about the FCA in respect of FundingSecure LTD.
Our investigation into your complaint is ongoing but we will be in touch as soon as we have reached a conclusion, or in 4 weeks time to provide a further update, whichever is sooner.
Thank you for your patience."
Hopefully the FCA is performing Deep Due Diligence in compiling and collating evidence which will conclude in Criminal Charges and a Criminal Trial.
And don't you all just love the "Thank you for your patience.".

I assume that all of you who have lost money from failed P2P Platforms are fed up to the back teeth with being milked and treated with disdain by IPs playing God with OUR money. Complaining to their various "Professional Body" will result in Jack Schitt, so what to do next? There are major and fundamental flaws regarding the IP "Industry" especially in how it is applied to the administration of failed P2P Platforms. How to get massive changes in this "industry" which benefits no-one but IPs? Complaining en masse to our MPs is the only course of action I can think of. Plus media coverage. Seems we can also Complain to The Insolvency Service:- www.gov.uk/guidance/how-insolvency-practitioners-are-authorised-in-great-britainWhilst I'm at it, RICS "Professional" Valuers also seem to think they're immune and off the hook. I have complained to all the IPAs and they are all the same - a pure waste of time and energy. Have you tried the RICS and are they the same ? If so, I won't bother.
Yep, complained heavily to RICS five or more years ago, info on here somewhere. Got back the bog standard and indignant "How dare you make accusations against one of our Highly Professional and Honest ( ) Members" BS. So, as we know, just the usual Closed Shop That Only Exists To Cover Naughty Member's Backsides And Keep Our Clean Image And You Can Just Fornicate Off With Your Complaint" like ALL these "Professional Bodies." They are ALL a pink gin swiling crock.

Everyone has their own needs, targets and future plans as well as attitude to risk. Keeping cash at 5% may be good for some, others may take a riskier attitude to make potentially higher gains. Forums are a place to gather opinions and take from it what you want. I admit I spent a bit time during covid in citywire, made some bad choices and am still paying the price. CGar springs to mind. Others probably got burned badly with P2P in years gone by. No "probably" about it, almost everyone from the earlier days got burned, no matter how astute/careful you were. You can't allow for the downright lies and fraud which was totally aided and abetted by various "Agencies". We were mostly experienced Investors and expected and thought that the FCA at least would "do what they say on the tin", you know, the absolute, most basic vetting etc. We now unfortunately know only too well how grossly incompetent the clowns are, especially under The Chief Clown, Failey Bailey. To be fair, I believe many/most of the staff at the coalface are "good", it is, as usual, Upper and Top Executive Management who are beyond shite.

I have said it many times before, if two or more people don't end up on Serious Fraud Charges, and pretty soon, they'll hear me screaming back in Oz.
Hopefully, my fellow Burnt Lenders out there will also become rather piqued.........

Carny blames inflation on brexit .... tomato prices also up because of brexit.. electric and gas costs up because of brexit.. on and on and on it goes. Beside " Because of Brexit", my all time favourite retort is " It's the Tory Cuts!" Apparently, if we'd never left the EU, and the Tories had spunked vast vats of money like Labour tends to, we'd all be living to over a 100 in a totally crime free land of milk and honey ......... For the record, I can't stand ANY of the political parties in the UK, they are all shite. In fact, political shiteness seems to be a standard nowadays and afflicting the entire Western Democracies. IMHO of course!

Regardless, there is, however, zero justification for PIs EXHORBITANT Hourly Rates, especially for Junior Staff, no justification whatsoever.

I have said many times before, these IP shysters need to be *independently Audited during their "Administrations", it should be Law and Standard Practice.
Somehow I feel that their efficiency and Costs, Charges, Fees and Expenses would then be rather different.
Their opaqueness, woeful communications and unwillingness to be crystal clear about the machinations surrounding the money is indicative of only one conclusion.
And as I have also said before, how does a £25 per hour hour Administration Clerk suddenly transform into a £200+ per hour Administration Clerk just because they're working in an "Administration"? We will be told a load of BS justifying this point but a Clerk is a Clerk and I don't like being treated as a buffoon mug with teats. ie Milk me.
* As long as the FCA has NOTHING to do with it!

The FCA knew about the missing £2.5m from the client funds as far back as Autumn 2018. You may recall there was a week when the website “went down” and no one could invest. At the end of that, apologies were given about technical issues. In fact, auditors had reported the issue to the FCA who then worked with FS. The deal set was the money had to be returned within a few days or they would publicly censure FS and force FS to “confess” to investors. Because Collateral had just collapsed I *believe* they were concerned about the impact to the P2P industry if this came out. The p2p regulatory arm of the FCA in Edinburgh would be the individual who would be better able to explain. The existing management didn’t have the funds, so they approached one of their largest investors, who agreed to pay funds in, in return for purchase of the company. Because this literally happened over a weekend, the investor had no time to conduct due diligence. He had a very large sum in loans and I suspect, to a degree, believed the lies from RL & NH. To my mind, the FCA’s handling of this affair is outrageous and should be subject to investigation. The FCA is no different from and has displayed exactly the same traits as the Directors of the failed P2P Platforms, if you know wot I mean ......... This whole FCA / Failed P2Ps sorry saga needs BLOWING UP, surely there are readers out there who have good connections in The Media, Parliament, etc? The consistency of the complete, total and utter failures by the incompetent FCA need much more oxygen and widespread publicity on a massive scale. Otherwise, Dear Reader, FA will happen and the FCA will blissfully and incompetently carry on "protecting" financial consumers.
