It constantly amazes me that a country of 330m people can award high office to people who are obviously not up to the job. If you look at recent history:
- President Ronald Regan - a senile old fool who should have stuck to making movies
- President George W Bush - IQ lower than his age
- Vice president Dan Quayle - possibly a lower IQ than W
- President Donald Trump - a narcissistic, self obsessed, vituperous idiot
- President Joe Biden - another senile old fool
The only thing worse than this is the thought that the odious Angela Rayner might end up as deputy prime minister, purely due to her union links.
PS: if the financial system in the west comes crashing down, being in Switzerland isn't going to save you.
my bold.. total rubbish. It has been said that Reagan was one of the best Presidents the USA ever had. He knew he wasn't particularly gifted or intelligent, so when an issue came up he would gather the relevent specialists in a room and they'd discuss and debate and thrash it around until a consensus was reached, which he would then endorse as policy. A reasonable way to run a democracy? Not my opinion, just what I have read from more than one source.

Except, of course, the FCA's own internal Whilsteblowers. Who are, of course, dastardly scoundrals, not to be believed!

And now she's released without charge. I'm afraid countries that keep voting for the same party discover that party gets increasingly mad and crooked. Both the SNP and the Tories need a wee while in opposition to clean the stables.
Is the Scotish system different, it seems so? AFAIK if you get arrested in the rest of the UK it is because you will be formally charged, I understood there has to be a "Charge" to be arrested?. To be "arrested" then released without being charged makes no sense to me, in this scenario elsewhere in the UK you are "called in for questioning under caution" or somesuch? I'm sure there are those on here who can explain - adrianc?

Not to mention that the former Directors are undoubtedly still receiving hefty fees for "Consulting" with the Administrators on the mess they created.

Two or more people associated with FS CLEARLY need to be jailed.
There is CRYSTAL CLEAR evidence of BLATANT FRAUD.
How long should we wait before, if nothing is done, we kick up an ALMIGHTY stink?
This CANNOT be allowed to just fade away, people MUST be jailed.

"Withdrawal Delay
Unfortunately, the platform will need to be frozen in order to finalise the details of some further loan repayments."
In other words ............We are still keeping your money - Kerching!!!!!!
What are our options regarding formal Complaints about the IP and about how the whole FS fiasco has been "handled"?
We know only too well that the FCA are a chocolate teapot so that rules those useless Fwits out.

Blatant lies then? If that doesn't constitute Fraud, what does? Where are the FCA/Police in all this? Now that their investigation/s "have concluded"? How is it fraud? They already had the money so they arent obtaining it by deception ... As I recall, the money never actually materialised?

Updates on this loan were absolutely ridiculous, like this gem. "31/10/2017 Confirmation received that the bankers draft has cleared - funds to be transferred once AML requirements satisfied." Blatant lies then? If that doesn't constitute Fraud, what does? Where are the FCA/Police in all this? Now that their investigation/s "have concluded"?

In a nutshell, This should have been done and dealt with years ago , the borrower has read the situation then played everyone like a fiddle and we as usual only find out after the event. This case was decided in my favour by the FOS but fs conveniently entered into admin shortly after and it couldn't be enforced. Unfortunately, there is/was an army of Lenders who never wanted to Default anything on any of the Platforms. Many/most/ALL of them have obviously never owned and/or run a business. Think I'll donate my crystal balls to medical science. Mar 30, 2017 at 5:09pm runtley likes thisQuoteEditlikePost OptionsPost by ozboy on Mar 30, 2017 at 5:09pm Apologies if there's already a thread on this but I couldn't find it so obvs starting this one. I know that Defaulting this Loan means a rather difficult (impossible) Asset to sell, however, I mean, NO contact in 20 days from the Borrower AND over five months late.
Time to Default, wot think you peeps?Expected end 15/10/2016 25/03/2017 We have not received an update from the borrower. We will push for an update and post as soon as received. 18/03/2017 We have received no updates this week. We will be in touch early next week and will post an update then. 10/03/2017 In a call today with the borrower, they were optimistic about securing a long-term investment with any of 2 interested parties. They are trying to secure a non-refundable deposit which would enable them to repay all outstanding interest.

British politicians didn't get payoffs. The Iraq War was the result of leaders whose only connection was belief in miracles, grovelling together on the floor trying to hear the voice of god saying that Saddam had WMDs. Well, one of them genuinely listened for the voice of god. The other didn't care and did what had to be done to sucker the other guy into going along with their already decided invasion plan. Are you naive, or ...... ? Ever heard of "in kind", or "favours"? Ever wondered if "After Politics" you go into "business" and your "Xxxxxx and Associates" suddenly picks up shed loads of lucrative contracts? Only a fool would accept direct spondoolies, even into offshore account/s.

Absolutely. Failey Bailey proved his arrogance and gross incompetence at the FCA, and now he's proving it yet again in the big chair at the BoE. Can he be fired, got rid of somehow? He simply HAS to go.

That is a very good question. Personally I think the UK is basically doing the US's dirty work for them - it is obviously alot more dangerous for the US to really push it with Russia. UK is a small and becoming an increasingly insignificant country so its aggressive behaviour is less significant. This also begs the question why the US has so much influence over our political class. Part of it is certainly bribery, there is a history of UK politicians getting very generous payoffs from the Americans if they go along with their various military projects about the world. Part of it is also the influence the US has over the UK via the financial and media industries. But I also suspect part of it is to do with some blackmail materials the US has on our main political parties.
