captainconfident - whilst not detracting from the point you're making, you may have missed the story that the EEA rollover agrrement (Iceland + Norway) is due to be signed next week.

I wonder how history will judge the conduct of parliament in generations to come (i.e. generations not characterised by leave/remain)? From where we are right now it's hard for me not to see this as a low point over recent (100 years?) history. I am not sure about how history will look at Parliament here but for certain this Government is already a historical low for the country. They have been found in contempt of Parliament, which is an extremely serious charge and has never happened before in our history. What an absolute shower.

2nd Referendum Voting Intentions: Remain Vs Govt. Deal Remain: 61% Govt. Deal: 39% Remain Vs No Deal Remain: 57% No Deal: 43% Via @yougov, 14-15 March.
For some reason when I see opinion polls I always think of that scene in Yes Prime Minister

They all have their noses in the trough and none want to risk losing it . Despicable, self serving, mediocrity.

registerme It's the Tory form of Teddy Roosevelt's policy of "speak softly and carry a bit stick". May (and the boy Williamson) go by "speak softly and leave the stick at home"

Like most of us Teresa May tried to get her small extension under “ permitted development “ . As with most councils the EU want you to consult the neighbours and get their approval before converting outline planning to Full permission with conditions.

It is just possible that MPs are doing exactly what they are paid to do. They are repeatedly being shown an inadequate piece of legislation and rejecting it. The failure entirely lies with the intransigence and lack of imagination of the Prime Minister, who has been blocking proper parliamentary discussion of alternatives.

I was impressed today with TM in PMQ'S , i doubt anyone can deny her determination to ensure the 2016 peoples vote will be carried through, and she should be commended for her dogged persistence (be it popular or otherwise) her subtle statement's which included "while i am prime minister" were no doubt a hint of where her own position lies come the end of June...

ok, uttered by a labour MP but..
"Worst Prime Minister in British political history."
Not sure my political history is sufficiently well informed to make that judgement, but hell, can't be far off. Whichever side of the fence you sit on.
I always thought that if JC got elected at next election TM would be eclipsed on that score, but I think we are at a point it would take some doing...oh, but then JC throws his toys out of the pram and walks out of meeting because Chuka Umunna is there, and he's "not a proper party leader".
Jesus H C****t. (oh no, that's also JC)

There have been a number of resignations with regards to brexit, so i'm not sure they all have their noses in the trough, on second thoughts, does a resignation stop the troughing? news.sky.com/story/the-ministers-who-have-quit-over-brexit-so-far-11553877
