Seeing the amount of borrower requests yesterday I made lending offers up to 4.6% which got accepted, surprisingly with full-term contracts (I know they still might be paid back early).
How high did the rate go yesterday, and looking at today's queues will it be higher today?

How high did the rate go yesterday, and looking at today's queues will it be higher today? For the first time in six months I deposited new money into RS this morning. I'm expecting 4.7% on the Rolling & could have taken a risk at 4.9%.....better to be matched than wait another day. Rates have certainly risen since the infamous email & exodus of funds! Take it while you can!

I think nearer 4% (if we're lucky) today. May get a bit more about now. Only £1.2M of "borrowers" so RS will hang around a few hours before matching - let the generous lenders appear (like on the bizarre 5 year figures which go down to 3.2% offers!!!!)

I was going to say 3.7% max for today, as I think RS may sit the overnight money on the market all day, but 4.2% just got matched, so I was wrong before I even posted this

Yeah that 4.2% must have been a new decent size loan, so it matched up quite well
Suspect rates wont go that high now today as there isn't that much to be matched, so as people check and set their rates the rate will probably not climb (as people undercut each other looking to get matched)
All bets are off however if a large loan is agreed with immediate draw down.

When I looked earlier today the 5 year showed the last match @2%! Obviously there are quite a lot of lenders satisfied with market rate/front of queue levels. I'm anticipating towards 5% on Rolling today, but of course I'm sure the platform are hoping/anticipating a decent slug of cheap money

If (the rate) looks too bad to be true it probably is!

Hmmm, I think I will up my reinvestment rate from 3.7% then, I'm due to re-match today/tomorrow.
I got my £100 bonus yesterday, I'm quite annoyed that it got auto matched at 2.4% though!

You can sell out your loan, they sell out in reverse order, so newest first
Sell it out and reinvest it manually, thats what I have done every time I have had a bonus (sign up or my 1 year one)

Think you got lucky on the earlier match I didn't see it go above 3.9% on the lunchtime match
It probably went to about 4.2 when the big chunk that didn't match at lunch matched
Money been steadily dripping in at around the same rate as lending
It could sit around 4% or so I think if no massive deposits are made. Monday could be *interesting*

The problem I have with all this excitement is 'how long for' (did you get it). Worst case is, IME, about 24 hours (borrower exercises his cancellation rights), and even at the full 1-month (rolling) you then have the 'gee what do I do now' once RS have equilibrated (aka massaged) the MR, by whatever means (cashback being a favourite).

Lesson 1, Never ever auto match. I saw some 5 year go for about 2% this afternoon. The bonuses are automatically put in at the market rate, not in the holding account. Now I know I should have sold it asap and re-matched.
