The sale of the property has concluded and the sale proceeds should now be available in your account.

Me too.The update issued last week (now removed) was lacking in clarity. Interesting side note - the pro Rata amount issued last week is considered a payment towards our initial investment rather than the interest accrued.

The borrower has made a part repayment on the loan so for those in this one check your accounts. Not exactly what I was expecting but very welcome none the less.

The safest thing to do if you are going to invest a serious amount of money into cryptocurrency is store your assets in an offline wallet eg Ledger Nano X.So if the platform went bust or was hacked your crypto would be safe.If you are just going to keep a small amount in Luno you may as well put it in their savings wallet and earn approximately 2% interest per year (every little helps🙂) In the app click wallets, add a wallet,+BTC savings wallet and transfer your Bitcoin over.

I’m a ‘Luno Bitcoin Pioneer’ and can confirm that Luno is a totally legitimate trading platform/wallet.The free £10 is basically an incentive to get people interested in cryptocurrency and learn about how it works and it’s potential as an investment. The Luno app itself is very straightforward to use, provides a lot of information of what is going on in the world of cryptocurrency and has very reasonable fees when trading. So give it a go and get £10 free of no strings attached Bitcoin just for opening and verifying an account. (PM me if anyone needs the reward code).

In case you might have missed it an update has been provided by Somo on the 16th of august.I just had a look at the property on street view and as you may imagine it’s looking in a rather shabby state.😢

Just received my £175 compensationfrom the FCA! How did they decide how much compensation people got? I received only £50!! The compo was awarded because of the delay in responding to the complaints so it’s all down to when you complained - the longer the delay the higher the award I believe.

As we don’t appear to be getting an update on this one this month I think it’s safe to presume that we are looking at a court case somewhere around the middle of 2020 as per last months update. Not really a surprise is it considering the antics the borrower has displayed over the last two years.

Just when you think things are coming to a head we have another twist in this saga. From the update posted today ‘the borrower lives in the Property now - where as previously the borrower was not living in the property and was living in Spain’.

Update posted today:
Our receivers are looking to compile an exit strategy this week once in receipt of some of the final details. However, the Borrower has instructed his Solicitor re counterclaims – This latest matter is now being addressed by our Solicitor.
Apologies this was not added to all loans at the time.
Since this update, the receivers have reported to us that there are several issues with the works to the property and we are taking advice from our solicitors and the Receivers will report their exit strategy shortly.

The latest update (11th April) is interesting (you now have to search through all the tranches as FS can’t be arsed to update them all).If you find ‘3rd loan’ you will find “However, the Borrower has instructed his Solicitor re counterclaims”. Looks like the end of this saga is nowhere in sight.

Check the update posted today on FS.Now you know why they have not been forthcoming with information regarding this investment.Another disastrous result for investors. Has the item been sold at a loss already? If not, then the result is still exactly as should be expected for a pawn item. The disaster you're talking about may well come later though. I've got a couple of hundred in it so let's see what happens... It's been sold for £10k.A loss of 83%.
