I hope this one gets extended... I'm getting close to the front of the queue! Is this just wishful thinking, or is there a way to tell where you (or I) are in the queue? regards Brian There is a way to tell. If you click on "My Loans" in the top menu bar, then on "For Sale" on the menu bar below that, the 3rd column "Queued Behind" tells you how much money is in front of yours in the sales queue. But hoping that I will get my remaining holding sold before this one gets kicked over to the Defaulted list probably IS wishful thinking!

A small amount has just appeared on the SM for anyone who likes to be in every loan but didn't fancy putting up the £100 minimum. Thanks - got my £1 limit.

Site has been really sluggish for the past half hour or so...
Edit: just received a repayment email for BL00082, so I guess that process has been killing the performance. Wouldn't have expected it to take this long though!

All these loans have been withdrawn and funds credited back to accounts this morning. Email from COL goes in to detail on why... sounds like they are changing their strategy a little (for the better).

Yep, if you do not opt to renew then you will get your invested funds back on the renewal date, and the non-renewed balance will be made available to buy on the Primary Market when the loan is rolled over. I'm close to the front of the selling queue on this one, but have un-ticked the Renew box just in case it still hasn't sold by then. So should the loan be listed on the "Pending Loans" page on the MT website soon ? Perhaps not - the General Update posted today effectively closes the exit route above for loan extensions (I assume it will still work as before for Renewals), so it looks like there's no option to exit other than join the queue... and wait...

So can we opt out of the loan if we make sure the renewal box is unchecked? Yep, if you do not opt to renew then you will get your invested funds back on the renewal date, and the non-renewed balance will be made available to buy on the Primary Market when the loan is rolled over. This has probably been asked before...does the interest continue to accure when a loan is listed on the secondary market? Yes it has, and no it doesn't.

Nothing has changed. The GBBA2 algorithm is the same algorithm at present as the GBBA1, PSA, and GEIA algorithm. There's no beta testing.Could be "exciting" when this change goes live then!

Some new interior photos added to the loan update today. I like what they are going for here... still a way to go until completion though. My money is on a late-spring opening. What is it 'they are going for' ? Sorry, yes, that was a bit vague! I was referring to the 'indoor street' theme, with store-fronts in different architectural period styles - I think it will look quite cool once it's complete. Hopefully the local antique dealers will agree.

Cash back of 1% just opened. Not enough to tempt me. Think they may have left it a bit late to get this filled by 10am Friday, but I'll optimistically bung an extra few quid in!

I've just found the thread on www.skyscrapercity.com for this development where they are discussing the developers previous projects (or more specifically, the lack of!), so I can understand why it's not seen as the safest of loans. Oh well, I guess that's why we're getting 13%... hopefully we will continue to do so!

This hotel has been open since December, and reviews on-line are good (although apparently the breakfasts could be better!)... but no update from MT since 16/10/17 when "The development work is now in its final stages".
I'm becoming quite annoyed at the lack up updates from MT in general - it's understandable (though not excusable) when things aren't going well, but you would think they would want to update lenders that a development project had been successfully completed and is now in use. Apparently not.
Come on MT, don't get complacent!
