Extremely useful - thank you very much.
I believe you (deliberately) haven't made any allowance for write-offs other than those made by the platforms themselves? Recognising that this would be guesswork, what do you think your XIRR might be if you made a reasonable allowance for these? (e.g., Grupeer could reasonably be assumed to be 100%) Failing that, what would your XIRR be if you assumed 50% write-off for all very late loans.

And you don't think Rabid PC Lefty Liberal Wokism is out of control @adranc? And getting worse? A friend of mine has a young daughter who attends a local school. She isn't allowed to wear a skirt because the school wishes to remain gender neutral. But it's nothing to do with "Liberal Wokism" out of control. Like nearly all of these stories (and indeed many stories of right wingers deliberately adopting evil policies), there's more to it. According to the school, it's because: "By moving to 'trousers only' we have particularly responded to the 'trend' for girls in the school to abuse the current policy and wear approved skirts shorter than they should, in and out of school. The wearing of skirts shorter than knee length, which is our current policy, has attracted many complaints from the public and from visitors to the school.... "It has proven time consuming and frustrating for staff to enforce in-school and is beyond our control out of school...."

Sorry if I have missed this in the various threads, but: Is there yet any clarification regarding the Chesterfield (BL00079) and Blackpool (BL00087&BL00088) loans? at the time of administration we were told the funds were not drawn down, the funds are listed on my breakdown of loans, but there is no property listed as sold/for sale against them in the liquidation report ie currently appears to be a loan without an asset/security. Is this part of the missing cash/discrepancies? Or perhaps we just have to wait and see what distribution (if any) materialises from these particular loans/trusts? BL00087 & BL00088 were offered after FCA knew (and had told Col) that they did not have the right permissions, yet somehow Col were allowed to solicit funding for these loans. This seems a clear breach of duty by FCA. The loan started beginning of February 2018. FCA told me they were speaking to Col about permissions in Jan (see post 183 in this thread). duck, apologies if you've already mentioned this, but is this specific issue being discussed with FCA?

We've seen plenty of these type of messages in P2P, Lendingworks and Property Partner spring to mind. It's all about perception rather than reality, typical management speak. Just come out and be truthful instead.
Looking at the borrower rates I'm not sure why they need to reduce lender rates at all. Call it profit taking or greed depending on your own level of cynicism.
I think they are focussing on sustainability of the business. If my reading of it is correct, it's a good news for investors who choose to stay. Arguably overdue: p2pindependentforum.com/thread/18125/accounts-nov-2019-filed-ok?page=2

Not sure this counts as fun, but it is interesting:- mkorostoff.github.io/1-pixel-wealth/(Hint: drag the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen rather than using the right arrow key or shift-middle click). Although politically I'm instinctively supportive of the point being made, I do find the mixing of stocks and flows rather grating.

At the risk of adding to your annoyance re: propaganda, do bear in mind that 2xAZN is expected to be more than 50% effective in preventing serious disease. And 2xAZN+1Pfizer is also much better than just 1 Pfizer in terms of preventing even just symptomatic disease so even with Omicron there are still significant benefits even now in having had the 2xAZN. (Plus the benefit from non-Omicron variants which may still circulate for somet time.) Possibly and I assume it depends on the timings. Also after having all three how well protected are we 6 months on? Slightly separately, registerme 's point about being glad to have had it is a good one. Particuarly with pre-omicron variants. I also credit it to helping me not catch it from my family despite sharing a medium sized flat so personally speaking I'm also very glad. However, notwithstanding Mark's point which I haven't checked, the 2xAZN has helped my for the past 7 months but doubt its going to do much going forwards. I stand by my point about propoganda. Oh and in case I wasn't very clear before, I'm very glad indeed that RM seems to be getting over it well. Good stuff ! You may be interested in this, especially Figure 7.

Slightly better off than without any vacc at all... Possibly. I think I read the efficacy against o is about 5%. 2 years ago or thereabouts I seem to recall reading that (the CDC ?) said an efficacy of 50% is realistically needed to combat the virus. 5% seems way below that and would seem particularly problematic given its rareish serious and fatal side affects. This leads me on to starting to get annoyed at the vaccine debate. I've said many times I've had 2 azn vaccines and am due my 3rd shot of Pfizer soon. However, I'm becoming more and more alienated from the "vaccine is good, anti-vaxxers are bad" debate. In hindsight there were and are clear risks from taking any of the vaccines. The scientists media should have have been 100% honest about what they know and not try to influence (vaccine update) in any way. Another example was the way all three uk authorised vaccines were treated. "THE vaccine" was a phrase frequently used despite the fact that there were three with one being very different to the other two. It was done to influence people not worry about which vaccine they received. Pages ago on this thread I moaned about my AZN vaccine and most would accept now that it frankly is inferior. At the risk of adding to your annoyance re: propaganda, do bear in mind that 2xAZN is expected to be more than 50% effective in preventing serious disease. Thanks for this - very helpful as always.
So for a regular sized loan everyody gets £50 and then anything remaining amount gets split in proportion to pledge size? So like UB?

Hi all,
I'm thinking of joining CP.
Is it understood how the autoinvest algorithm works? It seems to mainly split evenly by £ (rather than by %) with normally a minimum £50, and sometimes a small bump for those with higher set autoinvest amounts? Is that right?
Also, once you've got £500 invested, do you need to keep £500 in to keep using autoinvest, or would that be unnecessary?
Thanks

For those who missed 1493 in the Upcoming Loans yesterday, there's still £194k available this morning. From my AA investments, it looks like they also got a useful allocation from this loan. Yes, potentially nearly 20% released to MLA. No movement on the AA queue I didn't get anything from AA (quick access) - did others? Does it depend on which type of AA account? Out of interest, ilmoro, how do you see the AA queue? Thanks

In case anybody's interested there are a new set of accounts showing results up to November 2020. Access denied - request has expired. Try here instead - this should be a more robust way of accessing the accounts.

In case anybody's interested there are a new set of accounts showing results up to November 2020. To my inexpert eye, it looks like the losses have continued at roughly the same rate as last year (about £170k), based on looking at the change in retained earnings. No new shareholder capital if I read it correctly. There's also a brief reference to the court case right at the end of the document, which understandably doesn't give anything away.
