Definitely, I agree.
The risks in this one are not commensurate with the return being offered IMO. Not for me.

The absence of posts from certain members of this forum has been obvious recently - now we know why! Since I joined the forum a year ago I have gained a lot from some of these members, learning more about general DD and specifically about certain loans. I am grateful to them for sharing their knowledge and sorry to see them go. As for this forum, the knowledge and sharing here is absolutely invaluable, as is the good work of the mods. Yes, there is a downside to it being public, but that is far outweighed by the open exchange of information and ideas for everyone to share in.Please don't close the forum!

Yes, BL56 fully funded quickly, and there is no thread for BL57. Or if there is. I've missed it!

Do you get an email when fully invested? Just wondered, it would be useful to be alerted so you can add more funds. Don't think so But I am always thinking 2-3 days ahead and allowing for unexpected large autobids or the odd bespoke non auto so try never to go below £500 balance. I get an email at the end of every day, informing me of my loan repayments, loan allocations, and balance remaining.

The original loan overview states that the borrower has an offer from another funder to refinance the MT loan, once PP has been granted. It might be helpful to know whether or not that offer is still extant.

The borrower has been very unlucky. This is the second time a potential purchaser has dropped out after negotiations were well advanced.

I see no benefit to us, the existing lenders. From me, it's a no!

Pxxxxxxx Business Centres Ltd: Serviced Office Provider Project Size: £200,000 Term: 18 Months Interest Rate: 8.25% p.a. Loan Type: Secured & Assigned Thanks for the info mary . Would you mind giving us a rough idea of the number of loans available on Archover at the moment? I'm interested in this platform but I'd like to have some idea of the amount of choice on offer without having to open an account with them. I have read elsewhere on this forum that new loans don't come along very often and I'm wondering if this is still the case? I've been with Archover for about a month, and have invested in 6 loans in that time. There has been a flow of 2 or 3 loans a week, but some are borrowers coming back for more. Some - like the one above - have multiple loans. That said, loan diversification has not been a problem.

I have had misgivings about MT for a while, specially in regard to their (lack of) loan updates. There have been several requests from this forum for regular updates, which generally received a reply from Ed/Sophie along the lines of "in the next few days". Updates were slow in coming, in dribs and drabs, and it felt at times like pulling teeth. AFAIK, though I may be wrong in which case I apologise, the update on MTAT788 came only with the default.
I have sold off 50% of my holdings.

Yep, logged in as soon as the email alert came - one loan completely gone but got my £25 of the other. 2 minutes later it was all gone too!

It's hard to know - a couple of times recently I've been lucky and logged into the site just as the buy instruction went live. Both times I bought successfully and the email alerting me didn't arrive till 10 minutes or so after I had bought. By then one loan was all gone, but the other time there was still some available. My impression is there is a gradual increase in investor numbers on the site, so it may simply be more people competing for loans. As for bots, it's always possible.
