Sounds like he's been paid off to me. What makes you come to that conclusion?

Yeh thankyou that is the one which was in my account then they took it away £200 is a bonus after all this time
£200 + £45 interest
Mine was £50 capital plus £11 interest (yeh, I know the last of the big spenders). I guess that was full repayment, so wonder if the shenanigans of the last 9 months will affect the payout?

Looking I had £200 in the first charge 8010286828 which states re- Paid then under repayment states defaulted .Has this already been paid out I could never get the hang of Funding secure statements I believe they were about to make a payment in June last year, when somebody (I assume in loan 1) objected. The funds have been frozen ever since pending the outcome of the various complainants (which hopefully have just about run their course).

Looks like the 1st charge loan 8010286828 is taking priority which was the administrator's original move. Another 28 days to let investors decide if court is worth it. I received the email, but didn't realise I was in one of the loans.
Not holding my breath.
So the first FS loan was a second charge, and the second loan (8010286828) bought out the original lender and became the first charge?
Having checked I'm in loan 2 for £61.40, so might see a bit back.

Switzerland are flooding the UK with counterfeit stamps. No wait I got mixed up, it's actually China. Keep buying those products though to support the dictatorship about to invade Taiwan. Might be worth dumping your Asia stocks before it happens.
Given that anyone who receives a letter with a fake stamp is charged £5 by Royal Mail, I wonder if it is just a plot by RM to top up their profits.

I used Revolut for day to day spend when abroad. I now use Starling Bank and find them excellent. They are also a proper bank. Trouble with Revolut is you pay an additional fee for using the card outside UK banking hours, and also for ATM withdrawls over £200 per month.

Paula Vennells is going to get crucified when she appears in front of the inquiry. Some time in May?22nd to 24th I believe.
Wonder if she will suddenly become too ill to give evidence just before that date?

My personal investments are with Vanguard, where I have a general and ISA account.
Made a major blunder a few years ago where I didn't use my full ISA allowance, because I didn't think I would use up the £12k CGT allowance. Problem is some clever bast*rd thought it was a good idea to reduce the allowance to £6k in the 23/24 tax year and £3k in the current year. So for the last year year I sold £40k of one of the world trackers that have done well in the general account, which produced a £6k gain. Half went into the same fund in the ISA and the other £20k was re-invested in the general account in something similar that avoided falling foul of the bed and breakfasting rules.
I have £50k in premium bonds for my rainy day fund, and enough cash in my SIPP to cover 3 years of withdrawls, so I don't hold any cash ISA's.

If you look at the Chinese property developers you see lots of monsterous mega developments (in China and overseas) that are either not finished or not occupied.
Certainly puts the Bolton loan on COL into perspective.

Yup. If there isn't sufficient demand for your business to be profitable at a price that allows you to pay above minimum wage, your business isn't viable.
I guess that when times are hard having your nails decorated is something most people can do without.
Next thing you know they will be expecting the government to bail them out, just like the French farmers.

The boxing shorts worn by Mohamed Ali when he defeated smoking Joe Fraser in the 'Thrilla in Manila' (not to be confused with the rumble in the jungle) are expected to fetch about £5m in an auction theis weekend.

Kemble Water (parent comp[any of Thames Water) has formally told lenders that they failed to meet a deadline to pay interest on a debt due on Tuesday. But not to worry, they have asked lenders not to take any action while they look down the back of the sofa to see if any spare cash may have fallen down there.
