Sigh, I have this one too I've recently raised my personal lending rates by 150-200bp and ramped up my trading activities to try and make FC investing even remotely viable. But if it's not safe to hold a loan for more than a month, it really is a complete waste of time.

My defaults were 991 (B), 973 and 1328 (both A). Not sure if there's any discernible pattern there except perhaps they might be focusing on the oldest zombie loans first?

I've had 3 defaulted loans today so far, so they're clearly working on it...

Under Windows 7 the tooltip works fine for Firefox 26, but not for IE11. From my own limited experience of developing and maintaining websites I have a great deal of sympathy for anyone trying to make a bespoke website work for all browsers in all environments. I reckon that if you develop for a reasonably compliant browser such as FF then you should allow another triple or quadruple your initial development time to get it to work sensibly for IE, tablets, phones, other OS's etc.

Given the relative recent dearth of available loans on most platforms I'm somewhat puzzled that FE is struggling to elicit any serious interest from the P2P investing community. Their first 2 loans were underfunded despite the 15% on offer, the same looks increasingly inevitable for the current pair of live loans.
Since I am investing with them I'm more than a little interested in why so few others are. Is it just fear of the unknown / early adopter phobia or does anyone have any serious misgivings about the platform or owners? If your reasons are too libellous for the forum please feel free to PM me!
In the meantime I will continue to enjoy the 15% returns on offer in blissful ignorance...

Good work on the website, the pre-bidding seems like a useful feature to me. Having tried it out, I find that the Mini Statement on the Dashboard looks incongruous to me - the figures in the column no longer add up to the Total Investment. Can I suggest that the pre-bid amount be moved into a different column, or perhaps be greyed out or something - anything to illustrate that it isn't included in the total investment sum.

My first experience of using this platform was very disappointing. I had intended to make one bid, but after receiving an error message I tried again. According to the loan page I now see 2 bids of mine listed, but no indication of this on my accounts page. So no idea how much if any I've invested into this loan!

Hi c**t***c*n****nt The document contained no information which could be linked directly with the company involved, except perhaps for the loan id of *6*6 and a director's name which appeared in the Q&A which in hindsight I should have redacted to D **nt*n. Meanwhile in your initial post you appear to have copied and pasted the phrase "We are continuing to chase the borrower" verbatim from the FC website in clear breach of clause 16.2 of their T&Cs. I trust you also feel suitably abashed

I often overbid on loans to get close to the best available rate above my minimum without having to bid through the last seconds of every auction. I then sell the remainder which also helps nudge my overall returns up to something just about worthwhile.
Alas I didn't manage to flog my spare parts on these before they missed the first payment and so am badly exposed. Like many here I'm less than overwhelmed with confidence at FC's handling of missed payments and defaults and if this loan goes south I will be looking to exit FC sooner rather than later.

I don't login to Zopa very often anymore since it's become an almost purely passive investment, so I've only just discovered that their 5% "Rate Promise" actually translates into a 5.5% rate for me since I was an early adopter on a low fee structure. So can RS fuel my savings at 6% or more to tempt me to start migrating my money over? 5.7% right now ... will that do you? In the interests of diversification it's certainly worth consideration, but with Wellesley & Co. (do we need a suitable Glossary abbreviation for them too? - the obvious choice might not sit too well with them ) offering even higher 5Y allegedly provision fund protected rates I think I'll hold out for 6% until I dip my toe into RS.

New loan has been listed on the site starting tomorrow at 11. On the website it states "Starts 15th Jan 2014 at 11:00" rather than tomorrow?

I don't have an account with RateSetter, but for what it's worth I hold the P2P platforms which engage with this forum in much higher regard than those who don't, and if they do so with a sense of humour then doubly so. I think it's fair to say that those who will be reading this forum will likely be amongst the more sophisticated P2P investors and hardly need protecting from the comments made by representatives such as westonkev who are clearly proud of their product. If he were to state something which is palpably false I'm sure he would be shot down in very short order.
I feel considerably more uneasy with the P2P providers which remain silent.

They have also made some modest improvements to the platform, and promise more to come soon - including a secondary market.
