As far as I can see the highest bid in today's auction was £900k. But it seems that fell short of the reserve meaning it went unsold. What do Lendy do next, I wonder...

Looks like this is going in for auction on Wednesday. At a guide price of £850,000!! I wonder how true the previous offer of £1.6million actually was?!
<mod redacted link that provides address of secured asset> (Lot 27)
It would be handy if anyone is in the area and fancies popping in to the Grosvenor House Hotel to see what this sells for. Or if you want to bid on it, that would be great too.

Confirmed, £3150, asked for £5k. But why would you ask for any of it when there is PBL084 sitting available on the SM? I'm baffled. Perhaps they had no cash on account and their negative balance from this allocation would be cleared by the interest coming in tomorrow? Otherwise, I agree with you...

ISTM that now lenders know how the system works, they tick the box to 'auto renew', their loans. There were 2 renews this morning with nothing available! (On my screen anyway) I imagine that anyone wanting to sell bits off, would do so any time as the SM is very liquid. I noticed the Elms is nearly all gone, so hopefully the next new loans will be along soon. I, like many on here, have funds burning a hole in my screen! There was definitely some availability in both of today's loans when they were put on pipeline yesterday. When I checked this morning it had all disappeared and both loans stated approx 181% funded. Not sure if that was just my screen or if anyone else noticed it?

When does interest start accruing on a pre-funded loan part?

I haven't read through the whole thread but this sounds like the best idea to me Why do you think that this method that guarantees a 4PM surge every time is better than the ones discussed in the first few posts that guarantee that it will only happen if there is insufficient lender demand? What advantages does it have or disadvantages do the others have that cause you to have that view? Too many of the ideas sound good in theory but to implement would take up a lot of time/resources for MT. Others are just plain crazy (there will still be fff at 4am if some of the plans are put forward from this thread). This idea is a lot simpler and in my opinion makes the most sense if a pre-funding system is going to be put in place.

Pre-fund auction, 24 hours in advance. Give everyone a chance to request what they want by a set time, say 24 hour window Allocate loan parts bottom up, relative to requested amount Notify lenders of amount allocated 24 hours to fund account Anything left over or not paid for onto the SM at the end of the 24 hour period, FFF time. Gives everyone a fair chance and time to bid, saves processing deposits and withdrawals for anything other than what is required. I haven't read through the whole thread but this sounds like the best idea to me

I would be interested to hear of anyone's experience investing here. It sounds a bit similar to the Ratesetter 30 day marketplace, but then again quite different, for it seems like a 30 day rolling overdraft facility for businesses. So, JamesGrowthStreet - if I invest 1K here, will it all go to the same business? Does it matter to be diversified, since there is a provision fund? How long will it currently take to lend out 1k at 'market rate'? How is the 'market rate' determined? How many business/individual members do you have so far? Are borrowers offered a set rate, with your profit in between? The website is a bit short on detail so far. Any further update jackpease on your experience here so far? I'd be interested to find out a bit more about Growth Street, specifically with regards to these questions that kaya asked last month. Their referral offer ends today so I would take advantage of that with someone if suitably recommended.

SoMo (SM) (formerly BridgeCrowd)

Back on the subject, FI I have emailed asking Louis ( thebridgecrowd) to put a loan on the "secondary market" apparently operated over email and he has replied saying this doesn't exist contrary to previously saying it does. I got the exact same reply. I was told the secondary market would be available Jan/Feb and I would have to wait for that to be up and running to be able to sell an investment

Any chance of an extra row added to the bottom of the 'deposit history' table to total up the amount of deposits? Or add it in the 'statement' tab showing the total amount of deposits?

Many thanks
