SM alteration

It's been heavily debated on several previous threads. I, like many others IIRC, prefer that SS remain as simple as possible. The SM is there to provide the means to exit a loan, which it does very well. Pre-funding is there to provide the means to buy into new loans, which it does very well. If it ain't broke, no need to fix it. I did search but couldn't find anything specifically to the idea I have suggested. I'm sorry if it has been debated previously. I agree that the SM works very well at the moment but some loans that I want to diversify into seem to be out of reach. Even the newest loans that have recently gone live only come onto the SM for a few seconds and are gone. For example, for some people, the allocation for PBL86 was a lot lower than they would want. Once the loan goes live, pledging an amount they want will eventually get them to the level they want to invest. For people who want to increase their investment in SS they have to wait until payday to have the money to invest. If a loan they really like goes live before they have the required funds to pre-fund they would lose out until they can get lucky to invest in the SM. Just an alternative view to help buyers as well as sellers.

I know that the SM has plenty currently available but there are still certain loans that are extremely hard to get hold of. I was wondering if SS could implement a way that investors could pledge a certain amount they want in a specific loan and they then get placed in a queue until someone places a loan part for sale.
Potentially the "amount available" could go into negative territory to indicate how much is in the queue to buy. Sellers would also know they will be able to sell their loan part(s) immediately if the amount available is negative.
It still seems with some loans that it is fastest finger first and having to sit around waiting to get lucky that the loan you want pops up at the right time.
Any views?

Looks like the website has had an overhaul with the ability to "login" to an online account. Has anybody figured out how to do this without registering as a new user? Also noticed it states in the investor FAQs that there is a secondary market, which is "quite active". I've just registered as a new account and emailed Louis to ask if he can link my account to the website. Fingers crossed. I didn't want to go through the hassle of creating a new account. I've emailed Louis to create me an account based on my existing details. What sort of information can you see listed when you have registered gaspilot? Can you see the SM?

Yep, seems there is still an issue trying to invest in this loan. PBL87 seems to be working fine though.

Perhaps it is a page that shows differently for registered users? The top of the page shows:
Available funding: £1,208,457.00 Total funded: £9,253,464.72 Total interest: £632,267.30 Registered investors: 1053
Then there are five loans "open": - AE366 - AE365 - BPF310 - MT350 - MT308
Clicking on any of them sends me to a page to login...

Thinking of registering on Moneything. Just browsing the site and came across a limited number of loans on, what I assume is, the SM. At the top of the page it states: Available funding: £1,208,457.00
Is this the amount available across all current loans on the SM or something completely different?

Pipeline Loans

Today's update from PBL076 - "Should complete on the land part next week. The mansion sale is progressing; we will launch it as a new loan."
Will this be the next loan to make its way onto the Pipeline Loans section? What, roughly, are the timescales from announcing an update like this to loan going live (based on past experience)?

£116,300 went to the same bidder in the last five minutes of the auction to miraculously fully fund their "biggest loan ever". Strange how this person only bid 10-10.25% when they could have had 12.95%...

I started investing eight days ago and I'm in 30 different loans currently, ranging from £100-£800. All positive days remaining. Very happy with the range of loans I have but still a few more I would like. The first few days on the SM seemed impossible to get anything but the last few days has been a lot easier. It has a lot to do with timing and luck, I guess. Reading this forum has made a huge difference too and I want to thank people for imparting their knowledge on here.

Just wondering, can I sell a certain amount of a loan part or do I have to list and sell the whole loan part? E.g. if I have a loan part of £500 and want to only sell £100, is this possible? Thanks Yes; you can sell a part of your investment, just as you describe! Thank you very much for your prompt reply, much appreciated!

Thanks for your reply.
Everywhere else other than this section indicates that my money is on loan. On the "Loan Contract Details" section I have a contract number, the contract date states 11/2/16 with a status of "accepted" and the maturity date is 13/2/17. The schedule of payments section says on 13/2/17 the amount of £1,042.45 will be paid back; which includes capital and interest.
I will contact Customer Services on Monday if necessary.
Many thanks
