Well done Lending Works, a big chunk of deposit money from 14th Dec to 24th Dec has been lent out in the space of 3 days. Opened 14th December with small deposit - 20 days matching on the queue page, topped up a bit on the 17th December expecting something early new year, both these amounts still showing as 'new offer' and no indication of when they could be matched. Any ideas Matthew please, and a bit more than we are working on it if possible, many thanks. Hi guys We are working on the improved matching indicators - these should be released by end of January/first week of February. This will show your position in the queue and current average matching times (which you'll be able to see before adding new money). Loan volume has picked up significantly since December (we're likely to post a record month of originations in January) so you should see funds matched shortly if they haven't already. I'd like to apologise again about the slow matching over the last month or so - as mentioned, this was due to the delay in getting a key partner live which caused a timing mismatch during this period. Should be business as usual going forward. Just an update, third of my new investment matched (28th January) so that's promising ;-) (Fully invested now, 30th January) My deposit from 24/12/2018 was 80% lent out yesterday and the remaining 20% is matched

My recent experience: deposited 4/1/19, lent out 6/2/19 Next deposit was 29/1/19 (from an ISA transfer begun in early November!) - will see if queue has sped up when this one is lent out

I don't see any matching times for new money? Any idea why? Also I noticed that some of my recent loans are at 6% when they are supposed to be 6.5%. Anyone know why? Thanks in advance?

Lack of matching times is explained at the bottom of the Offers page. It says: "Due to anticipated seasonal fluctuation, our matching times are temporarily longer than usual. To counteract, we're currently integrating additional partners to provide increased lending demand which will dramatically reduce queue times. We are also working on improving the accuracy and efficiency of our matching time predictor and the updated feature will return to the dashboard shortly. We appreciate your patience and understanding on these matters." The 6% loan will be one that you have picked up from a seller. You will have been compensated upfront for the extra 0.5% interest. EDIT: The compensation payment is labelled in your account summary as " Quick Withdraw loan interest shortfall received".

So it's taking about 28 days. Is that indication of the platform being over-subscribed owing to it's perceived security, at a time where things are thought to be unpredictable?

Is that indication of the platform being over-subscribed owing to it's perceived security, at a time where things are thought to be unpredictable? Impossible to say what motivates others, but for me it's a combination of: Highest paying platform of this type with a decent PF (that I'm aware of) (excluding short term lending with very high APRs like WLU). Can invest via an IFISA. Effectively diversified over all loans (so no chance of accidentally picking up an unlucky number of bad loans). Ability to drawdown interest and/or capital repayments if required. Virtually no cash drag once initially invested. Low withdraw fee if early access to capital is required, making it superior to most 30 day access accounts once an initial investment term has elapsed. The platform's engagement on this platform has been good so far. The only drawback for me is the initial cash drag, but this is outweighed by the above. EDIT: Should also have added: it requires absolutely zero management (fire and forget). EDIT 2: Clarified first point.
