I have been able to identify with the content of most of the recent negative reviews of Lendy on Trustpilot. The sudden plethora of not very specific 'Gee they're great' positive reviews did nothing to impress me as they indicated little comprehension of what Lendy were about, and some of the other reviews of the posters indicated as little comprehension of other things too. It also became apparent that negative posts were disappearing. So just out of curiosity and wondering if I smelled a rat, I Google'd "Don't trust Trustpilot'. I got 101,000 results in about 0.43 seconds. I haven't read them all but Trustpilot doesn't come out looking too good and these are not just complaints from moaning individuals but from fairly serious reviewing organisations. Edit: Any aggrieved Lendy reviewers could consider reviewing Trustpilot at www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/trustpilot

Just had a quick look at the Lendy reviews on TrustPilot and note that Lendy seem to be going through the list including the older reviews and taking down anything they don't like. I just did a search (admittedly very halfheartedly, got distracted by something and lost interest) for sites where you could leave reviews for sites like TrustPilot, looks like there might be a gap in the market. See my edit above.

Good find - well done. Casts another totally new light on TP.

In that case we should soon see a marked improvement in previously very poor averaged ratings. TrustScore 5.1 out of 10 at the moment. ISTR that it is already up from last week.

Yes, I've had my most recent review (my third) pulled after Lendy's complaint, because I used the noun 'scammers' to describe Lendy. Having vented my spleen, I don't think that I'll take the option to revise the review as, much as I now detest the terrible twins, I would like, one day, to see my capital back, and the the best chance of that happening is for Lendy to stay in business. Having got £50K 'lost' somewhere in the Collateral mess, I'd really rather not lose all of my Lendy funds. Needless to say, like many others my ever diminishing monthly interest payments are withdrawn the moment they appear.

How can you tell if your Trust Pilot review has been deleted? Mine looks unchanged when I login but a friend says it's been removed?

On the plus side the fact that Lendy have asked for some TrustPilot reviews to be removed indicates that they are rattled by the negative reviews, and hopefully will take note of the ones they can't get removed.

I doubt it. It is less effort to get some stooges to counter them with a few five star "Brilliant I think everyone should put all their money here." reviews.

Always thought it 'not right' that it wasn't possible to leave a 0-star rating. Sometimes, a 1-star rating is one star too many.
However, according to an explanation on their website (https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/201748946-TrustScore-Explained- ) a 1-star review counts as zero.
I also like that older reviews depreciate over time, which may also be affecting the current overall score as the swathes of original 5-star ratings during the early 'honeymoon' years count for less and less.
Good in principle, but if TP are complicit in manipulating scores then it really counts for nothing.

Thus we should not use TP for reviews and anyway, this forum is probably the place potential investors look. Thus:
Anyone thinking of putting money into Lendy should be certified as mad.
Rating 0 stars.
Though to be fair I would once have given them 5 stars but when the interest is already paid for 12 months, then that rating is a cert.

If investors are swayed by an emotional opinion such as yours then they should probably stay away. If, however, they are logical and want to make money then Lendy is the right place at this moment in time

Lol. Words fail me. Can only assume you've been on the cooking sherry whilst polishing your rose tinted specs. This would be a good place to start Hazel and potential new investors: p2pindependentforum.com/thread/8000/dfl017-old-marylebone-road?page=22PS. I'm not emotional re Lendy. I have not lost any money (though that is hard to decipher within the world of Lendy). I have 2 loans left. I did have 6 figs in the above loan but sussed what was happening and managed to shift the loan albeit with 2 months lost interest. Remember the 'illiquid monster thread'?
