I found a great set of reviews on TP for NFU Mutual insurance after seeing an advert of theirs on TV. They have many depressing one star reviews but have the integrity to take them on the chin, instead of getting all whiney about them and demanding they are taken down. In fairness they seem like a great company as far as TP integrity goes but probably not the number one go to guys for insurance.

Just noticed that at some point between 9.30am and 10.00am on 28th February Lendy have ceased to hold a paid for TrustPilot plan (there are now adverts on Lendys TP which only show on free accounts, and the 'subscribes to Trustpilot’s paid business services.' notice has gone from their page).
So either Lendy have totally given up trying to police TrustPilot reviews, or the Lendy finances are so bad that they cannot afford the TrustPilot fee anymore.

Lendy and TP is like the King Kanute story. The tide of aggrieved lenders is too strong. I have noticed for a few months that the server speed at Lendy is quite slower than it was in its heyday, possibly dropped some rack space for economy! If they are counting pennies like the above, not good news.

Just speculation of course, but maybe TP have decided their position would be safer if they did not appear to be colluding with Lendy in obfuscating bad reviews. Given the trends it would certainly be on my mind if I worked for TP.

We now have another ridiculous post advertising fund recovery by Malaika. They have wised up and used a different fake name instead of the family name of their MD. Delia Ellis has two further reviews to her name in addition to the Lendy one. The text is the same in both. The lady seems to have been very reckless in her investing but been most fortunate to find a company that could recover her funds in an incredibly short time. It's only my complete faith in Lendy that stops me signing up. (Sorry. I thought I was in the positive thread for a moment then! ) I hope that all Lendy investers have had a look at the Trust Pilot reviews on Lendy re MALAIKA. All I can say is BARGE POLES.

And yet today we have another one star review from a first time poster claiming to have had $74,000 recovered by Malaika. Now apart from this being funny it raises a question in my mind. If there are US citizens losing money on Lendy AND future investigations into Lendy concluded that they were, as alleged, a Ponzi scheme, then there is a possibility that Uncle Sam's long arm of the law might be reaching out in this direction.

I know that there are USA citizens involved in lending through Lendy, and yes, I would not wish to be in Mr.L shoes when/if the USA lawyers come after him, as they are more vexatious than our lady friend over at the London Loan. That being said, their advert in TP looks dodgier than a 419 scam.

However if things start heading South for Lendy and the words 'Ponzi' and 'Wire Fraud' get mentioned in the US associated with investors there, then even Lendy's milkman could be wishing he was living in South America under an assumed name. Just my uninformed take on the matter however.

I don't think it will be too difficult to ascertain that.
DFL04 Is a classic example. All looked fine n dandy acc to updates, but in reality it far from was. Times that by about 50 more!

it seems another lender has had their funds returned via this malaika outfit. maybe lendy themselves should hire them to sort out all our scamming borrowers and get things moving.

I just noticed the new one star review of Lendy from someone touting the malarky recovery scammers. I find it a bit odd that Lendy are prepared to be maligned by these fraudulent reviews and claims of recovery from them within 24 hours, when they are so touchy about honest reviews from bona fide lenders. If I were a P2P company the only reason I wouldn't be complaining about companies like Malarky trying to feed off me, would be because I had shares in Malarky and wanted two bites at the cherry. Of course I am not in any way suggesting that this is the case where Lendy are concerned. I'm sure they know we don't have the spare cash to splash on fake recovery even if we were dumb enough to fall for it.

Those fake reviews are so blatantly fake that perhaps Lendy is leaving them up just to make the point that TP is pure BS. I am with them on this one.

Unbelievably, Lendy have finally woken up to the fact that apart from aggrieved lenders on TP who needed to be removed to save face, there was also Malaika's spammery and scammery afoot in their back yard. They've extended their policing to get rid of them.

The joke that is Lendy/Brooke have no face left worth saving! Be serious.
They seemed to have given up defending their terrible name on TP but all of a sudden are back on the honest posters all the while ignoring the obvious fake reviews. Must have assigned the work experience kids something to do for the week.
