I'm guessing it's by Adam Williams.... he's wanting to write an exposé with lenders who've lost money....but as none of us have as yet....

Here's a bit in last week's Telegraph, 2nd Feb, by Adam Williams; It's about the FCA register, but collateral is not mentioned: pressreader.com/@nickname11136881/csb_g68CyI_lMdsYGcdpd7W0bx3Zn6y-Foj1QNBi7p757dKxN0ByuofwWSKgAs9bhbcsHere's a relevant snippet: The overall number of complaints also increased significantly year-on year. In 2018 the regulator received 92 letters about incorrect information on its register. This represents a sixfold increase on the 15 complaints recorded in 2017. Due to the slow nature of its complaints process, these 92 issues are unlikely to have been resolved in the calendar year. Each of the three complainants paid compensation in 2018 had initially contacted the FCA in 2016 or 2017.

Anyone got a link for this ? cheers I don't believe there is a new article* (I've searched high and low for one) but I can confirm that Adam Williams is looking to write a story on Col and the FCA. As stokeloans has pointed out the fatal flaw in the 'story' at this time is that nobody has actually lost** any money (although we all know it is coming). AW is fully up to date with the current position and the digging for concrete information progresses. *happy to be proved wrong! ** Here I am referring to investors crystallized losses, not anything else

"There is no suggestion that anyone at Collateral was behind the manipulation"

I got the impression that it was just a bread and butter piece. Rather anodyne . I'm kind of sick of the weekend Telegraph padding out its copy whining about Phil Green and tacky supplement articles. Its about time newspaper staff were culled and advertisements thinned . Some keen lean articles with insight please rather than tugging an overblown rhetoric and rehashing the same feely stuff.

Col had 1132 investors, as stated in Refresh Recovery's letter to investors, yet only 69 have complained to the FCA! Come on guys, let's make an effort to increase that number. Details of how to complain, are here: www.fca.org.uk/about/complain-about-regulators/form
