I think that it is an improvement! Everything works fine for me with Firefox 33. It is simple, fast, and informative, I like it.
I would like to specify multiple filter criteria when browsing loans, for example, loans that I am not invested in and loans with available units.
It would be useful to be able to sort my loans by column, for example, by value, term, or rate.
I think that the Loan Q&A should be date/time stamped.

I logged on to new site, started taking the tour, and part way through it got stuck on the homepage and now won't take me to the dashboard (clicking "dashboard" link just takes me back to the homepage, as does logging out and back in again). General snafu or just something on my account? Also, existing "bookmarks" such as www.assetzcapital.co.uk/lender/my-account/ seem to result in a 404 not found page.

I logged out, deleted all Assetz cookies, emptied the cache, closed Firefox, and then opened it and logged back in. It seems to work. Not sure which (if any) helped.

Hi Chris,
Just a bit confused by this one,
On the adjust my investment target page for an individual loan it says reduce/increase my target investment by* and then the entry box.
do I put my new target in the box or how much I want to go up or down by ?
increase my investment target
reduce my investment target
by *
edit..
with a bit of quick testing, the number to put in the box is the amount you want to increase it by ..

Sorry this was dealt with in the pink forum. There was a brief window where if you clicked on the dashboard link it would incorrectly redirect you to the homepage. This was an erroneous SEO redirect that has since been corrected. Shutting and opening your browser should have been enough to fix it, clearing your cache would also work. It shouldn't be an issue for anyone who didn't click that link within the 15 minute window it was broken.

You enter the amount you want to adjust your target by in the box and select whether it's an increase or reduction. So if you already have £50 invested and want to increase your investment by £10 then you select "increase my investment target" and enter £10. This will then be added on to your existing target taking it to £60.

Without looking at the new functions, my first reaction is "Oh No". The same mistakes as Ratesetter - vast areas of empty space, large range of fonts including some very small ones lost in the space, and lots more scrolling. What is it about today's website designers that want to produce something both awkward and aesthetically unappealing?

I don’t claim to be the most tech savvy individual but, unless I am missing something, where the hell are the live bids and accepted bids from the old system?
Over 3 separate accounts we are over £1500 short and barring a few pence it’s all down to the live and accepted bids not being shown, I’m bl**dy glad that I had the presence of mind to take screen shots (which reconciled to the last penny) earlier this morning.
If I’m correct in saying that live and accepted bids are not showing, why not? And if I’m wrong, how do you find them?
Not good enough AC.

What is it about today's website designers that want to produce something both awkward and aesthetically unappealing? Very much my feelings too - on the financial statement the headings take up three quarters of the screen! And under "Your Loans" only ten are shown per page, whereas we used to have one long list. Generally I'd rather have as much information squeezed onto a page as possible. Is there a way to see my total investment on the platform (cash plus loan units plus accepted and live bids) without adding up all the bids myself?

This is from the Pink After a very quick look, it seems to me that there's something of a change in the overall philosophy. I would guess that most or all of the things that we could do before, we can still do, but we might have to go about it in a different way, while other things have become more default (eg picking a target investment amount rather than just manually picking up loan units). Chris, I realise you might be busy dealing with individual concrete issues that come up, but when you have time, I wonder if it would be worth outlining what that new overall approach is, which would help us make sense of how things are structured? The central philosophy is to simplify things for casual time poor lenders. As the products and "create your own" launch in the coming days and weeks this will become more apparent. However for those with the time and inclination you can still micromanage your account, picking and choosing individual loans or building you own meticulously crafted investment plans that are then automatically executed. When the "create your own" service launches we'll run a series of online workshops where those who are interested can learn in detail how the system works and how to get the most out of it. Conceptually it's simple but there's a lot of power under the bonnet. In terms of the financials the most obvious changes are the removal of auctions, as previously announced by Andy H, and the separation of virtual bank accounts. Your cash account can no longer be used to do anything other than transferring funds in and out of the site and then distributing those funds to where you want them within the site. You don't invest directly from your cash account. Each product, including manual investments which is just a special product as far as the system is concerned, have their own segregated virtual bank account. You need to transfer funds from your cash account into the relevant investment account in order to be able to deploy those funds - this is admittedly an extra step but it is required to prevent automated systems lending out your funds as soon as those funds hit your account. Within each product / manual investments you can choose what to do with repayments as they come back in. If you click on the "Reinvest Repayments" link then you can choose a different strategy. The options let you automatically reinvest everything, just the principal, or to withdraw all repayments. Anything withdrawn is returned to your cash account ready for you to withdraw from the site or redistribute into other products. I'm happy to deleted bengilbert's question if he wants that.

Is there a way to see my total investment on the platform (cash plus loan units plus accepted and live bids) without adding up all the bids myself? Squeezing information on to a page isn't good for new users or those on smaller devices such as iPads. We're trying to cater to a very wide range of users which isn't an easy balancing act, and choices have been made with good reasons even if that can't apply to all users all of the time. That said we have a new user experience expert joining the team later this week to bring the design of the site in house. His remit is to understand all of our users and to optimise every last control on every page. Part of his role will be to interact with you all on the forums, hold workshops, study the analytics, and then to come up with changes to the interface to make it as widely accessible and usable as possible. Some of this will be via tweaks to the layout others via configurable options. No website is ever done and what we're launching today is just the foundation for the next year or two of development.

There are simple queries on here - why on earth should they be on pink?
First impressions - i like it - i have long ago given up bidding so that side of things doesn't bother me. I love seeing what i have and being able to increase/decrease so easily.
My reaction to the Purple Pox was to cut my holdings - My reaction to this redesign is to transfer money in as I can now fill in the gaps which i didn't know i had...
Only suggestion - why limit loans to ten per page...
