Sincere thanks to AC for not getting the new site incontrovertibly 100% spot-on impeccably perfect at initial showing.
Otherwise us lot would have nothing to whinge about.

I've found it now, thanks for the clue! See the other post by Ton quoting me as to the change in philosophy in response to your wider (now edited) post about our thinking. Bids are no more, hence being a little bit hidden on the new site as they'll fade out of operation over the next few weeks. I appreciate that bids are no more but that money is part of the account and, as I have already said in another post, they were counted as part of the total investment by the old method and should still be considered as part of the total value of the account, change in philosophy or not.

Buying units does not now appear to show up on the Statement, well not mine. Also the Auto Logout Timeout could do with increasing or manually enable/disable/change, this is a right pain having to constantly log back in. Otherwise i like it, especially buying units for whatever value you like.

From the new site announcement email (hence at least marginally on topic in this thread I think): "In early November Phase 3 will introduce automatic investment filters to allow you to bespoke your own specifications and criteria..." Not many finance companies would be as linguistically daring as that!

IN EDIT reading the recent AC email, I'm guessing early Nov. to answer my own question.

I'd prefer if it didn't log me out like it used not to, but can live with using reload every. I can see it's safer for people using public computers ( but wiser not to use a public computer for such financial stuff really). They are currently working on a statement for the investment account that will show bought and sold units - this was brought up in the Pink thread earlier - so that should be sorted soon.

Sorry this was dealt with in the pink forum. There was a brief window where if you clicked on the dashboard link it would incorrectly redirect you to the homepage. This was an erroneous SEO redirect that has since been corrected. Shutting and opening your browser should have been enough to fix it, clearing your cache would also work. It shouldn't be an issue for anyone who didn't click that link within the 15 minute window it was broken. I've just completely restarted not only my browser but the entire computer [for reasons unrelated to this, but I used the opportunity to check after I'd restarted]. As I have cookies set to "Allow for session" this also cleared those out. Still find that: - the "dashboard" link takes me straight back to the homepage. - using a bookmark like www.assetzcapital.co.uk/lender/my-account/ gives me a 404 rather than redirecting me to the correct page on the new site. Are these issues that other people are seeing? If so, why can't the solution be discussed in public?

The logout timeout is supposed to be 20 minutes of inactivity, however it's reset by page loads so you would need to refresh the page every 19 minutes to stop it logging you out (and giving a 1 minute margin). Clicking on one of the dynamic controls (such as adjusting your allocation of funds) doesn't currently reset that timeout although we're working on a solution to that.

Seems the first is fixed only by manually clearing the cache... the second (broken bookmarks with no redirect apparent) still seems an issue.

Is there a way of telling, on the new site, which of my accepted bids is a shadow bid and which has been paid?

Sessions are handled as session cookies by the browser. If your browser caches sessions beyond when the window is kept open then we can't do anything about that unfortunately. My understanding is that all browsers respect session cookies properly except Chrome. With Chrome there is a setting visible on the main settings screen ( chrome://settings/) that says "Continue where you left off" or something along those lines. If that's set then I believe it remembers session cookies for you even when you don't think it should.

My account total seems substantially lower than it was before.
The "Current cash balance" seems the same, and the "Total investment" also seems the same as the previous lent balance of loans already made, but funded bids seem completely absent from the total.

Unfortunately... due to poor weather conditions (and unexpected trip to the dump) there has been a delay in the flying pigs But, proving that anything is possible and good things come to those who wait, here they are now, jetting in from the pink thread. The world famous Piggy squadron!
And theyre straight into their signature move, the Ring on the end of his Nose ... as the leader comes across us now, the purple smoke comes on, the crowd appreciating the shade! Theyll have to remember to change that as theyre off to the Ratesetter thread later, picky crowd, and then hopefully back here later for the H****y Br****g repayment ball And to my left I can see the proud parents Andrew & Chris, looking relieved but happy. Still going to be a busy time for Chris as hopes little AC 2.0 doesnt develop any bugs. Sure he'll be getting lots of help and advice with that!
