If I was AC I think I would make sure wives get the options first.... But the plus might be that we start to decrease our excessive population levels. I wouldn't bank on that.

If I was AC I think I would make sure wives get the options first.... if I turn on the BBC all I get is women banging on about women's rights, positive discrimination in favour of women, more women needed in the boardrooms, more women presidents, more women in parliament, more women taking the decisions - it's all about women! All the leaders of all the political parties in the UK are women (and that seems likely to include UKIP). * Seems to me the men will soon have only one role in the world, and the women won't have time for that because they will so busy organising everything. But the plus might be that we start to decrease our excessive population levels, so i should not whinge too much about women taking over. But I'll still whinge about AC's discrimination against me! And for months now the spare cash in my MLIA is left there and not allocated to the QAA despite numerous requests to get this bug fixed. *Forgot about Labour, but they don't seem like a political party at the moment. Here, here! For too long we men have been trapped in the twin ghettos of business and sport. Move over girls - child care has been selfishly dominated by you for millions of years - we demand equality!

We ain't all one of your stereotypes (tho' I think you fit neatly into one of mine) I can see the censors moving on this one, but what the heck!

There's a wonderful thread on the MSE site where women moan about not getting their pension until 65. They all say equality is a great thing, but the changes shouldn't come into force until after they have retired at 60.

Odd how we never seem to hear about positive discrimination in favour of women on the bin lorries, or at the sewage farm, etc etc

In the interests of impartiality, i must report that equality between the sexes has been restored. My wife and I received the same (miserable) amounts. I did query with AC my zero allocation of a couple of days ago and was told it was "the algorithm". Well, I know it's a damned algorithm, but why does it give nice rounded up numbers (or nothing) one time and the next time a strange amount with odd pennies. Is chris trying different algorithms to measure which allocation method generates fewest complaints/most user satisfaction?

#164 S******bridge Dev capital repayment was credited later that evening, but the repayment tab looks a bit of a mess! I got 89% of my holding back. A further update, another 'oldie' #54 H******** L*** ** L** wishing to redeem the rump left next Friday. Only ever managed to get a very small slice of this myself.

Not good news on 174 (trading suspended). I bailed out of this one when it emerged development wasn't going ahead. Initially looked ok on paper but as things have turned out it reaffirms my belief to be wary when the borrower is anonymous.

It's not , but it shows the guys at AC are doing their job properly . This situation is something that can and will happen and it is good to see them detecting it and jumping on it.

Very strange doings on #174 in GBBA - in the last hour or so, I seem to have acquired another £30-odd in this loan, and now just received £133-odd in principal repayment.
And yet today's email from AC, as of an hour ago, says trading is suspended - one assumes that the suspension only refers to MLIA activity then?
But then GBBA *is* supposed to be a black box account I suppose, so maybe I shouldn't bother peeking under the lid ...

As per the email, the capital "repayment" was actually withheld funds that had not yet been distributed to the borrower (the funds intended for some of the actual development).
