😅 Am I the only one seeing Starro being stabbed by Harley Quinn with a giant “needle” and lots of “bodies” destroying Starro?

So France with 65k cases yesterday is applying restrictions to a country with about 10k cases more? Does this mean that Germany (55k cases yesterday) should be applying the same restrictions to stop French people entering?
Pot, kettle, black?
This is not by way of defending it, and I suspect politics has some role to play [...] If they haven't extended the ban to worse hit countries like Ireland, Norway and Czechia, that would seem the main reason.

R4 was discussing it just now - the main reason is that France has just 240 cases of Omigawd confirmed to date.

Is that a spoof? Please tell me that it is. PLEASE... Nope, that's Suicide Squad ... same director as Guardians of the Galaxy. I'll let you Google the opening scene from Guardians part 2.

Unless you are very lucky I doubt you will get to next year without hearing one of their members work repeatedly......

On Tuesday my wife was the only doctor on her ward, she managed to see 12 of 27 patients (all of whom should be seen every day). Yesterday, her day off, there was noone. Some of her colleagues are isolating, and the queue of excess reserve doctors waiting on the bench has not materialised to fill all the gaps.
Does everyone realise that isolating staff means care deteriorates, and at what point does it deteriorate to the extent it's worse than the risk that comes with being seen by doctors who are covid positive?
Personally, I'd rather be seen by a covid positive doctor than not be seen at all. Fortunately I'm not in hospital, but I expect it to be an even more dangerously understaffed place than is usual over Xmas this year
Doubly-fortunately for me, my wife starts maternity leave next week - so doesn't need to worry about filling the gaps herself. Though were I patient it's yet another missing doctor!

Some doctors “working” in the surgery do not see patients face to face, such as the pregnant ones.
However, they will “consult” on the phone at the time of their choice.
A booked telephone appointment at 9am could be 6pm in realtime.

You're also not correct about pregnant ladies, at least around here - they are seen face to face. Health workers are also doing home visits as normal again for the first time since we had our son almost 20months ago, they are visiting us on Tuesday.
