have some sympathy: just imagine being so gullible and stupid that you have Piers Corbyn as your leadership role model. In a court of law, would gullible and stupid get you off if your deeds had caused mass death? I do hope not.
Would, I was only obeying orders get you off?
Would, everyone else I know was killing people so I did, get you off?
My wife was killing children so I went along with it?
Would I lied about medication to see how many people went along with me get you off?

No, but they consider consequential crime like death by dangerous driving caused by reading a message on a mobile phone to be far less serious than 1st degree murder, torture and rape. Rightly so.

I am very grateful for local council and their volunteers. I was strolling in the park yesterday, there was a mobile testing site, fully staffed but no queues. Also picked up a box of 20 just before christmas, handed out by the council volunteers. 😁 There was a time in the past - both yours and the worlds - when 'picking up a box of 20 in time for Xmas' implied anticipation of rather more interesting activities than sticking a swab up yours and your partners nose. Jesus; a box of TWENTY!!!!!!!!................. You've just gone up in my estimation (unless it was a year's supply )

I wasn't disagreeing with your 'evil' label. I was just tongue in cheek suggesting some sympathy for them for being quite so stupid and gullible. Hell, I've for many years described the Catholic church and previous Pope's as 'evil' - and genuinely mean it. The Catholic doctrine's proscribing of contraception in general, of prophylactics specifically, and its mind bogglingly impractical alternative of chastity, has contributed to the misery of many tens of millions of women and the seriously comprised health and miserable deaths of probably hundreds of thousands if not millions of people from HIV/AIDS. And that is before we even get close to discussing doctrine on homosexuality. That said, I do think the native anti vax movement as represented by Piers Corbyn and his bunch of simpletons/delusionals is not particularly influential and therefore not that dangerous. There is far more serious drip drip of stuff which is coming not from their ilk but from outside sources. And yes, that is evil in its outcomes. In the same way that the catholic church promulgating its creed for its own sake while knowing precisely what that means for 100's of millions of its followers is evil.

It demeans the word "evil". How would you describe the yorkshire ripper or other monsters ? Who's killed more people? Sutcliffe killed 13. Anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists have killed many thousands. I do agree with one of their placards, though, although probably not for the reasons they agree with it... Of course, those victims swayed by the anti-vaxxers were able to exercise a choice in the matter. Sutcliffe's couldn't. There's misguided, stupid, gullible, even worried and too frightened to commit to a jab.... and then there's true evil. Personally I'm not going to elide the two.

Freedom is not negotiable?
Unless you want the freedom to chose to be vaccinated. What a bunch of t*ssers.
Are you suggesting they should be given life imprisonment? Should they all be tracked down, arrested and interned? I can't think of much more anti-liberal than that. Oddly, I'm finding myself agreeing with the placards I can see in that shot. What I'm suggesting is that people who want to get vaccinated should be allowed to do so without being intimidated by a bunch of thugs.
I'm suprised that you can't see the hyprocrisy in somebody complaining about a loss of their freedoms, while trying to stop others exercising their own freedom of choice.

Panto season
"oh yes they are"
taking false news and made up stories to potentially risk other people's lives..... I could go on but why feed a Troll.
It demeans the word "evil". How would you describe the yorkshire ripper or other monsters ? There are levels of evil, trying to stop people getting protection from a dangerous virus must be up there somewhere, they could kill thousands rather than the rippers 10's or so. They may not understand what they are doing but it's no excuse.

I completely agree with that. Utterly wrong IMO for them to protest in that way. But from what you write are they complaining about loss of freedom (anti lockdown) or about mass vaccinations (anti vax). They are very different but neither topic should be closed for debate.
