"Also present at the screening was Wesley Garner, from Morriston, Swansea, who was one of three people fined more than £2,000 earlier this year for travelling to Liverpool during lockdown to heckle staff at a school for getting tested for Covid.
On his public Facebook page, Mr Garner makes unfounded claims that "there is no pandemic", that the vaccine is made of "5G" phone signals, and has compared the vaccine roll out to "genocide"."
Mmmm. They certainly have their target audience...

You're right, my bad. I do apologise. It should indeed be 863+186+385 = 1,434. So your chances of being killed on the roads of the Ukraine this year are only about 3.5x higher, and your chances of being murdered in the Ukraine this year are only about 2.5x higher. Mea culpa! Why do you chose to include Ukraine in many of your answers and now you give examples of murder rates and road death rates? Do you have something against eastern Europeans ? According to the Ukraine culture minister Netflix do. In a recent series a Ukranian character shoplifts and is portrayed as having poor fashion sense and is afraid of being deported.
But don't worry, people in France also took exception when it portrayed the French as rude people who wear berets and frequently cheat on their partners.

Doesnt do the Americans any favours either and as for the token Brit ... refuses to learn French, is a banker and spends all his time in a pub and watching football.

A cinema that was ordered to close after breaking Covid rules flouted the ban to premiere a film by the son of conspiracy theorist David 'nutty as a fruit cake' Icke. Directed and produced by Mr Icke's son Jaymie, it makes several baseless accusations against NHS doctors and nurses, including that they are deliberately killing elderly people in hospitals in order to "boost the numbers" of people dying of Covid.
Sad how the Icke apples didn't roll far from the tree. Love how the cinema owner will spend her donations magnanimously to "educate and empower others to claim their universally declared human rights back" and to take her family on holiday.

Another check-in at one of the vaccination centre this morning. Noticeably no queues and a few in uniforms start their first-day help.
Two big vaccination centres close by are shut and no one handing out freebies. Hardly seen anyone queuing for covid-19 testing at the closest test centre.
Also, after the walk-in appointment, the appointment later on the same day cannot be cancelled.

France's most famous twins die of covid within a couple of days of each other.
Aged 72, the brothers had not been vaccinated against Covid-19. Their friends said they were convinced their healthy lifestyle would protect them

I was in college in Coventry at about the time David Icke was youth team goalkeeper. He was well regarded until health issues cut his career short. He made a name for himself as a TV presenter, but somewhere between leaving Grandstand and re-appearing in a turquoise track suit his brain went walk about. Some of his claims are so ludicrous it makes you wonder how he gets any supporters at all.
A bit like Glen Hoddle saying that disabled people are paying for sins in a previous life.

Professor Ferguson was seeing some fancy woman while the country was in lockdown but hey that is OK. The Government and its advisors are a bunch of hypocrites, "do as we say not as we do".

21 months ago I was deep in trying to help out with protective equipment supply to a small part of the country. I decided then that being kind was a good position to try and hold amongst a sea of confusion. I recommend it to you all. During the past 2 years many many people have been scared confused and basically wrong. I know I have.

There is no dispute that some Government officials have broken the rules, but they shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush. There are plenty on the opposite side of the political divide (Corbyn, Blair, Sturgeon, Kinnock, Starmer) who have broken the rules and carried on as normal.
Anyone care to guess what % of the population have broken covid rules? Should they all be in Mr Ferguson's boat and be looking for new jobs?

These are the who supposedly run and advise the country having a lot of people in fear. It wasn't long ago that when you went for a walk people approaching you would cross the road to avoid you and were petrified if they couldn't avoid you. What I read on this forum I think there are a few on here who are too frightened to go out of the house or go to work. The government have done a good job of frightening people but giving them no hope.
