Although the site has not crashed - it is still up and running - the effect is for access to time-out. Interesting definition of 'up and running' -- nobody can view any of the pages or transact any business but, other than that, everything's OK. For the record, my Firefox has now given up trying to load any pages, and reports...

First off - apologies. This is a brand new site on a brand new server. Prior to launch we carried out testing but it was not possible to fully sumulate such a high load condition, which is specifically why we advised a time for this loan to be posted. Although the site has not crashed - it is still up and running - the effect is for access to time-out. We are currently increasing, on the fly, the amount of CPU and memory resource to the server. Unfortunately this takes time to implement and, in the meantime, the queue continues to grow as more people try to access the site. As advised in the email we have been monitoring the site and the records will enable us to better identify the key bottlenecks and resolve them for the future. Again - apolologies - we are doing everything possible to recover the situation An update will be posted as soon as we have more information. FundingSecure Okay I'll bite fundingsecure. It is possible to stress test any platform before it goes live to whatever level you (or your website designer) choose to do. If you are operating with just one server then frankly it is a recipe for disaster. Companies I operate with either choose to 'sub-contract' to a third party that has the necessary resources or if they decide to do everything in-house then the last thing they do is have just one server. Normally it is with at least three with a load balancer. These systems do cost money but I wonder just how much goodwill has been lost after today's fiasco which will result in lost revenue. Probably there are enough investors registered with yourselves that loosing the odd few here and there will not make any difference. It's not though how I would choose to operate. Soapbox now vacated.

I finally managed to bring up the loan page. It shows £50 invested already, but no lender ID is shown. In the drop-down box used to select an investment amount there are about 1500 items to choose from -- but they're all zero! If this is what it being presented to all visitors to the website, then we shouldn't be surprised that very little investing has been done. Also, having deposited £250 into my account so that I could bid the maximum stated in the email announcing this upcoming loan, I was most surprised to see the announcement on the real webpage that the maximum investment is £500. The list of problems with the 'new, improved' website grows ever longer!

Not when the home page is no longer displaying correctly - it's showing - Fatal error: Call to a member function prepare() on a non-object in /home/funding/public_html/files So I cannot even get to withdraw any surplus funds. Anyway, I've spent enough time on this thread today. Are the pubs still open - probably not where I live. Think I'll go for a walk and talk to the squirrels - will be more productive.

I quite often get into the page now, but always the same.

About 50% full and only accepting specific amounts so no longer can squeeze out your last 1p into a loan.
At least now working...

there is also a £25 unit loan secured on a ring. There is a small quantity still available but I rather think you might need to be quick!

Actually this was happening on the old site, a couple of month’s back I had £100.01 in my account and had to settle for investing £100.00. This continued even after topping up the account in whole pounds, it would not allow me to include the £0.01 in any offer. I got round this by adding £0.27 and making the next offer £100.28 which was accepted in full.
