That's a new 'feature' of the new website. Actually this was happening on the old site, a couple of month’s back I had £100.01 in my account and had to settle for investing £100.00. This continued even after topping up the account in whole pounds, it would not allow me to include the £0.01 in any offer. I got round this by adding £0.27 and making the next offer £100.28 which was accepted in full. This is a different thing. Now you can only invest in multiples of £25, chosen from a dropdown list.

there is also a £25 unit loan secured on a ring. There is a small quantity still available but I rather think you might need to be quick! Quite a few "overbids" of £50 to £300 on that loan , so they should be cleared down / deleted soon. No - it is a renewed loan. Those larger bids, and the ones with odd amounts, are the rolled over investments from the original loan.

Once again apologies for the problems. The website is now responding correctly and the loan secured against the Ford Model B is fully funded, as is a smaller loan posted later this afternoon.
We have identified the issue, relating to the new "increment" feature. When creating the loan a simple human error was made, failing to select an increment, which caused the server to go into an infinite loop, resulting in the resources maxing out. We have now fixed this by ensuring a default value is used if none is selected.
In addition we are also doubling the overall available resources as a further insurance policy, which will be done during a maintenance window between 1am and 5am tomorrow morning.
We plan to repeat this type of trial again, to purposefully stress the server, as no amount of simulated stress testing can exactly duplicate the real load.
Apologies to anyone that missed out on this loan as it did fill very rapidly once the issue had been resolved.

Thank you for the update.
With the new site will it be possible to invest amounts other in £25 multiples to get our odd shrapnel into a loan ?

We plan to repeat this type of trial again, to purposefully stress the server, as no amount of simulated stress testing can exactly duplicate the real load. It would appear that FS decided not to use today's loan as an opportunity to test the system. They announced that it would go live this afternoon, but didn't specify a time. So only those willing to sit watching the website and refreshing their browser every few seconds would have had any chance to invest in that loan. Was anyone here watching the website at the appropriate time? If so, how did it behave?

It looks as though the loan filled successfully but as I'm not one of those willing (anymore) to sit in front of the monitor refreshing the screen who knows. Hardly a stress test IMO. No doubt FS have got more than enough registered lenders that they feel confident enough to fill each loan as and when they announce it. Maybe one day they will have more loans but I've come to the conclusion that FS is no longer for me.

mikes1531 I was able to get on the loan and it behaved fine AFIK, it did for me anyway. It was quite a small one though.I'll think they'll go nuclear again on one of the larger pipeline loans.

I expect they will wait for a brand new loan - today's was another renewal and with hardly any availability in most renewals perhaps most people don't bother making a rush for them, so they wouldn't make good candidates. I certainly don't bother; if I was already in them I've either chosen to roll the investment over already or chosen not to; if I wasn't in them I just think it's not generally worth making a special effort to get the odd scraps that are left.

You beat me to it!
It’s now 12:12 and no sign of the £35k loan due to launch at midday, more problems?

I don't think we can draw too many conclusions from this yet. This was a renewal, and one paying a much lower rate than many of us are prepared to accept on this platform. As such, there would have been far, far fewer people trying to get in at the time the loan was launched than there would have been for a new loan paying 13%. Loans where there wasn't an immediate massive clamour have always gone pretty smoothly. It's certainly a very good sign, but I'll be more convinced when it has gone well for a loan that everyone wants a slice of.

I also stayed away from this one because of the 10% interest rate.
Am I reading the above messages correctly to conclude that the loan became available for investment at about 1213 and was completely funded by 1221?
Did anyone notice how much of the £35k was taken by rollover investments and how much was available for investment today?
