buryfc. didnt one of our biggest borrowers mr SD who had a special relationship with LB/lendy almost bring the football club to the brink with all his dodgy dealings.i hope the administrators are looking into where millions of our money went between these dealings because it certainly never went on the projects

Surely this will add more traction to LAGs court action.

Let's hope it is jail time then.
FCA need hanging out to dry but alas, untouchable. Not worth the wages.

Crooks? Good heavens, who would have believed it, I`m absolutely amazed at such a suggestion. Looking up the prison visiting hours as I write

FCA need hanging out to dry but alas, untouchable. The FCA authorised Lendy knowing full well that significant compensation was owed to lenders for mis-selling. This was misleading. Untouchable, they are not. This is just defeatist.

Why do i get the feeling that this is just going to soak up millions more in administrators fees with no positive outcome for us at the end of it?

Ok, what do you suggest then? I want a public inquiry into the FCA handling of Lendy. After that, a crowdfunded lawsuit ought to be appropriate. I imagine that the anger that people feel over this could well provide for such legal action. Nothing the FCA has said to date hangs together well. They pretend their authorisation of Lendy was for some sort of greater good and ignore the harm it actually caused many investors.

Public enquiries have not been held into far larger financial collapses with regulatory failings so would need a huge attitude change and even then Lendy & P2P likely to be at back of queue. FCA have statutory immunity from legal action excepted in very narrow circumstances

I think common law might have something to say about that.

There is no interpretation of law to be made … the FCA has immunity so you cant take them to court to create precedent and common law. AIUI judicial review wouldn't be an option either.
