For the last two weeks most trades on the secondary market I've completed have been in one or two parts only.
Last two today took ~2100 and ~4800 parts! What does one infer from that?
Also interestingly with the spread been shown as 8.2% buy - 9.9% sell they completed at 8.0% - 8.5% sell.

Are you able to judge over what sort of time frame? ie: several hours or just a couple of minutes?

Are buy/sell orders on a first in first out or share of availability basis?

Are you able to judge over what sort of time frame? ie: several hours or just a couple of minutes? All within a few minutes around 6pm. Wonder if it matched with some auto reinvestment of capital / interest for the silent majority?

Had it been significantly slower - ie 'several hours' - I'd be wondering if it were some bots pacing themselves, hoping for richer pickings. chris - able to provide any insights, please?

Could it be related to today's distribution from the QAA? Mine was timed at 18:33.

Isn't it the case that by investing money with AC, lenders have given permission for them to lend it out? Can't see it would be workable for lenders to say "here's my money for investment, but don't lend it to any more borrowers than you have at present" Also AC hasn't started any new P2P loans since March, so no new contracts or borrowers, just continuing to fulfil existing obligations.
But we are in Prime Gammon territory here where rational thought, logic, reason and facts hold no sway.
My bold.
Ah, this might not be the case for much longer, AC have a 9(12)% £1.06m bridge facility for one year security is resi 45%LtV. Signed by the customer yesterday, I think it's completely new to the pipeline, not a re-entry or a re-signing of a contract unless someone recognises it?. No indication of drawdown yet.

Robot have you considered selling your house and piling into AC loans as you seem so keen? Asonnewman - why would I over-expose myself to a high risk investment class? Just because you may have done - and now regret it - doesn't mean you should encourage others to potentially do the same. Before involving myself in p2p lending I've read some reviews/blogs - one message that was clearest of all "don't invest any money that you can't afford to loose". I've made some big mistakes (e.g. GBBA&GEIA), but if the whole p2p industry were to collapse tomorrow my livelihood won't be affected.

I'll be up for reinvesting my returns into MLA when loan flow is back.

Question - providing liquidity is not an issue- is there any point selling loans at a discount now given all BAD loans no longer can be traded out??
