Sold £120 at 8.2 overnight. Current sell rate is about 8.55. After the PF email panic discount seems to be settled in the 8 - 9% range. I am watching for a breakout below 8%. Ignoring the opportunity for the site to collapse .... I would see 5-8% being sort of where the market will be. Investors can get money out potentially earning 4% and put it elsewhere (various options) and earn 10% so they can break even over a year at circa 6% discount. Those with more pressing needs will go higher those who haven’t really looked elsewhere will hang in there.

They're down quite significantly, see chart of amount discounted. Now down to the lowest since late Feb and a fraction of the high £2.8m on March 28th.

What do these figures mean ? I assume it has no relevence to the MLA account discounts. Shouldn't the bid to buy discount be more than the offer to sell discount ?

Taking 'Tue 15/09/20 6pm 8.1% / 8.4%' as an example, it means at that time -you could have bought immediately at an 8.1% discount (sellers offering £100 of AA loans for £91.90) -you could have sold immediately at an 8.4% discount (buyers offering £91.60 for £100 of AA loans)

got it. Nothing to do with individual loan discounts. The column headers are the wrong way round, sell offer is the left hand column surely.

Instant buy rate flipping between 7.2% and 7.3% at the moment. Rate does seem to be decreasing over the last two days.

Instant buy rate 7.1 percent at the moment. Rate does seem to be decreasing. Showing as 7.3 to me, so has plummeted 0.2% in 15 minutes. All in the interpretation obviously. I am still testing knobs and buttons so have no idea where the level should be. Somebody really should have talked me out of this.

I sold out at 7.2% yesterday if that helps. Around £14K which amounts to losing about 10% of my last 3 years interest. I can live with that.

Weakening depth on the sell discount. Now at lowest buy / sell levels since the infamous email went out. Will it break through to the sixes though?

Somebody really should have talked me out of this. Dont dooit, Villij, its not worfit! Always good to have a look if entry is cheap, a £1 ticket let me look at all the exhibits. Alas it told me little or nothing as to there collective value ((somebody has stolen the labels from the damaged ones). Certainly in my case there would need to be a good margin for error in my favor to risk much money in it currently. Yet somehow would not be overly worried if by misfortune I had found myself holding a modest amount, a large amount I think I would look to make into a modest amount even if it hurt a bit.

Weakening depth on the sell discount. Now at lowest buy / sell levels since the infamous email went out. Will it break through to the sixes though? I believe so. Personally i still think anything above 5% discount is good value to buy if you don't need the money back very soon. I am still buying occasionally. Just my personal view obviously and others may disagree.
