Given there are other opportunities out there at circa 8/ 9% I believe many might choose to opt out sub 5% - that will be break even for many.
One thing for sure is the intro of the SM has done nothing for liquidity for those not prepared to take a loss

I've had three four 'limit' buys @8%+ disc at different times this week/last week:
17/09/2020, 15:51 [8%]
18/09/2020, 08:51 [8%]
21/09/2020, 14:36 [8%]
Edit: Also at 22/09/2020, 09:17 [8%]
More:
24/09/2020, 09:30 [8.5%] More: 24/09/2020, 11:35 [8.7%] [almost instant; btw you can compare time of order with time of completion on the statement itself]
24/09/2020, 12:49 [8.8%]
24/09/2020, 15:29 [9%] More: 28/09/2020, 12:05 [9%]
[HTH]

Looks like average discount to exit is moving up again, large seller (over 30K) has been offering 8% for the last few hours ... any takers?

I am interested, unfortunately for the seller that interest is only in how you have established the volume, I can see how to establish the rate from a buyer prospective. I am guessing it is shown from a seller perspective?

The up to 100% losses at Wellesley are probably not helping Never let a nonsense comparison of two totally different business models ruin another opportunity to spread Mr Angry bile. Unfounded fear and scaremongering by the usual suspect, AC investors, has probably done more to worry investors into selling at a loss than the company they constantly bleat and whinge about ad nauseam. Ad nauseam adverb used to refer to the fact that something has been done or repeated so often that it has become annoying or tiresome. Are you suggesting that the ever growing list of failed p2p platforms is somehow good news? Do you think that it is likely to incentivise people to put more money into p2p or withdraw it?

Could be the same amount of money spread over fewer good surviving platforms - like this one.

The question is good for who, the holders of the GEIA, GBBA1, GBBA2, QAA, 30D , 90D, etc and numerous MLA loan holders in particular D******d M***** Limited might beg to differ but I am sure it is good for the directors of AC.

This spurt up to 9% comes exactly a month after "the email", must be people pulling money from the 30DAA, so another might be likely in two months. I wonder if bigger as they'll feel behind the times in the 90DAA.

Discounts are a bit up on the MLA too So I think also partly related to general economic gloom and second wave impact.

I'm Buying:
I notice a peak for 28th of 8.9% (£100) I suspect you have a better understanding of the underlying 'value' than me. I see three main considerations only one of which I can currently value. The obvious first one is the current value, i see a second as the unknown ongoing deterioration simply due to the current climate and a third being the liquidity premium (or lack of more accurately) The third one is pretty much individual circumstance, I am not in great need of liquidity so am content to trade that for a margin of discount. points one and two I truly have no idea. That fails the 'meatloaf' test that two out of three ain't bad. So I am more a potential buyer, but did have a marker at 8.9 that did indeed trigger.
