Given AC have confirmed “all future tranche funding required is covered by current cash balances held; the majority of investors wish to remain invested” & things continue to “normalise” and accelerated payments are on the way; one would envisage reduced discounts prior to phasing out of the SM next year??

I don't expect the SM to be phased out - just to operate roughly at par. Otherwise we would be at risk of being locked in if there was a future rush to withdraw or cash famine - until AC decides to switch it on again. Take back control - and keep it.

>2% is not unpalatable if the alternative is a tax fine. Maybe discounts will go up as end Jan appproaches... No argument to be had here, but there is no fine on the cards since I was clearly referring to the rest of my holdings at >2% being unpalatable.

I am waiting patiently to be able to sell my loan parts at a premium! They are worth it, believe me!

If interest rates go much lower you won’t have to wait long. 0.5%? Might as well risk p2p.

At last coming down to a level where real liquidity may prevail ... given the signals from AC about cash reserves a 1 to 2% discount would seem to be the order of the day until the market normalises mid next year ??
