Fascinating study (but you can only understand it if you voted Remain... ). Another illustration that geniocracy outpoints democracy.

It's a shame they couldn't have spent some of that £350m / week on this .

Anyone else following the Teesside Freeport scandal in Private Eye? Its eyewatering. Unless Gove has handpicked cronies to do the imminent report, then this should blow up in the next few months. The Eye exposes shameless lies by Houchin, who should be stripped of his knighthood.

Private Eye doing god's work as usual but Lord Houchin appear to be kicking back northeastbylines.co.uk/houchen-tries-to-block-teesworks-evidence-to-mps/Let the 'honours' stripping continue! Edit: great idea for a new system...how about people who commit grand scale heists of taxpayer resources get a new title based on dishonourable behaviour. Stays with them for life.

I wonder if there is a magic trick to regain the benefits prior Brexit without rejoining the EU? May's October 2016 conference red line to stay away from the ECJ stops any serious co-operation at all - and any rolling-back from that will be shouted down by the usual suspects as a "betrayal" of the "will of the people" (despite those same usual suspects saying we wouldn't leave the SM/CU/etc before the vote)

Should be grateful that they got this free gift of 'Brexit without consequences' for is long. Yup, the delay is entirely down to UK government incompetence, and the inability to set up the infrastructure that the people voted for.
