Marks & Spencer has changed the name of its Midget Gems sweets to avoid offending people with dwarfism.

Would at least have the benefit of being the opposite of our current PM, who seems to have dedicated his life to unconscious coupling. <Deleted> While my post was entirely n jest, and was not intended to be taken literally, I've been reminded of the particular circumstances pertaining to Carrie J, and hence it might have been viewed as being in bad taste. Well if you were the other involved party, I think you'd need to be unconscious wouldn't you ? Whenever somebody starts talking about politicians love life I always get that image of David Mellor in his Chelsea kit. Mind you, Antonia De Sancha was no looker either.

MI5 warning over 'Chinese agent' in Parliament
Apparently the lady in question gave Labour MP Barry Gardiner £420k over a 5 year period, but only gave £5k to Lib Dem leader Ed Davey (which was probably about £5k too much).

That is big news. I'm far more annoyed at these MPs taking this money than I am about it being on offer. I'm also annoyed this additional MPs finance doesn't reach the front pages more often. Whether big UK companies, big foreign companies or big foreign governments it all smacks of snouts in the trough.

Andrew is 18cm taller than VG, looking at that I'd say her shoes have to be at least 10CM thicker than his at the heel
