I thought the Eurovision semi was a hoot. Wasn't keen on the Ukraine entry, but I'm sure they'll win on the sympathy vote. By far the best ( i.e. funniest) was the Norway entry, "Give That Wolf a Banana" by Subwoolfer. ...... Yes, honestly. The first three lines are probably enough to set the scene: "Not sure that I told you, but I really like your teeth That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath Not sure you have a name, so I will call you...................................................................KEITH! Priceless  Mr wogan will be turning in his grave.....

Possibly as a sign of how much interest I have in politics, London Boroughs have their own mayor ?? Is that just like council leader in the rest of the UK?
The london mayor xmas party must be a pretty big and expensive affair ?

I see the Wagatha Christie dispute is back in court.
So when the court orders that a mobile phone is handed over so that it's contents can be searched for incriminating evidence, the phone in question falls into the north sea. I don't see how any self-respecting QC could offer tht up as an excuse while keeping a straight face.

For my money, Moldova is the most entertaining song. But no surprise, they have entered the excellent Zdob şi Zdub again. But no surprise, they have entered the excellent Zdob şi Zdub again.
