A little bird tells me that one of the stewards allegedly got a little confused while announcing that event to passing punters, and referred to him as "Oswald"...

Does the fact that I just clicked that link mean that the ridiculous writer gets paid? Boils my blood.

why does it not surprise me in the least ? Nor that you're the one that has found that particular piece. I suppose he also carried a doppleganger corpse to the location he was found, since there is a body And / or the local police are in on the conspiracy. And what is a 'conspiracy expert' anyway ? Something tells me that isn't someone who is an expert at doing critical analysis and picking apart ludicrous conspiracy theories. Rather someone who is known within the like minded community who is particularly good at manufacturing and publicising conspiracy drivel. scooter though curiosity could have got the better of me, thanks for the heads up that I would likely just be putting money into some nutters pocket.

It's the same as the fake moon landing conspiracies. How many people would have to be 'in' on the deal, and what is the likelihood of them all keeping it a secret for 50 years.

The primary expert on any particular conspiracy theory is the person who's manufactured it and is now disseminating it.

What's the scholarly word for someone who believes everything he reads ? Not like retarded, a more profound word.

I'm not sure of your point here. I've read quite a few of these conspiracy alternative explanation threads and the like. I don't believe a single word of them, because they're patently steaming guff. "The first thing to be aware of (and thanks to Keith on Twitter for the heads-up!) is that Mosley was a graduate of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford. We have come across that subject area at this site before, because it is known to be prime recruitment ground for MI5, and the strongly suspected spook, Rishi Sunak, is also a graduate of this programme. So is that other notorious "TV doctor", Rachel Clarke."Who? Anyway, yes, Mosley did study PPE at Oxford, after deciding not to become a priest. He then worked for two years in the financial industry in the city before... <fanfare> doing a medical degree at what's now UCL and starting to move towards psychiatry. Then he decided to join the BBC instead, becoming a producer. None of this is a state secret, yet... it sort of didn't get mentioned. As for Oxford PPE... www.ppe.ox.ac.uk/files/ppeadmissions2022-23informationforapplicantsfinalpdf
