But I do think it's credible, cogent, detailed and supported with evidence. ISW also has an extensive record. Is it always right? No. Is it a good source? imho yes. Got a better one?

My own perspective, the 200 missiles attack is a win / win for both sides.
Iran has been pushed into a corner and forced to demonstrate capabilities. Whether you view it as a total failure of not hitting something major or deliberately not hitting something major and expecting to be countered, it’s a short sighted win for Iran as there’s no instant counter attack.
obviously, it’s probably a bigger win for the “defender” as they have successfully intercepted most missiles and gave them a reason for “further escalation”. It’s clear they are hungry for more blood and there’s no sign to stop any sooner. Now it’s up to the “defender” to show their true capabilities for riskier battles in foreign land on the ground.

Is the 200 a test to see if Israeli defences can counter that many at once? They did.
Is it a preliminary to see what Israeli defence stockpiles are like? Perhaps...

The Iranians claim 80%-90% hit their targets. Unlikely but I don't believe the "defender's" numbers either.

However I am an investor/speculator/gambler, and trying to work the direction of large geo-political events has proven very fruitful for me in the past. For example, one of the reasons I spent alot of time trying to predict the outcome of the war in Ukraine* was I knew that if Russia won it would undermine confidence in the dollar and boost gold - which I made a very substantial return on. If this conflict in the middle east escalates then it is pretty obvious which commodity is going to go through the roof, and if Israel cannot effectively defend itself from missile strikes from Iran it will escalate very quickly. * - for example by listening to controversial military experts like the Colonel.

Supporting putler ( as we all know U do ) is based on your heavy bag of gold you hold and all the undermining of Ukraine was to make a sure your bag will be even more heavier . . .
