All the best people are heading that way anyway. I mean, just how boring will upstairs be?

Paula Vennells is going to get crucified when she appears in front of the inquiry. Some time in May?22nd to 24th I believe.
Wonder if she will suddenly become too ill to give evidence just before that date?
TBF, she might very well genuinely become ill ahead of her appearance. I don't get the impression that she is inherently a sociopath, so I suspect what is happening and the prospect of what is going to happen is going to take a toll on her.

What's the betting she blames everyone else. Yes, she's almost certainly going to fall back on "... but I relied on what I was told"... yes, but the problem with that defence line is it's becoming increasingly less credible by the day i.e. evidence is mounting that she had evidence or at the worst severe doubt put in front of her, and also that she lied or at best was deliberately misleading. and that's without even tackling the idea that insufficient curiosity as the actual truth of the matter is itself a massive failure of leadership.

Hence why I said she's going to get crucified. A punishment not restricted to messiahs historically.

And those who refused to worship the Roman gods, such as Christians and other minority sects. Definitely not restricted to messiahs.

This afternoon's session was interesting, in that an appeals court judge was called as a witness. The dynamic was... different.

So the lady postmistress prosecuted while pregnant has an apologie today for, quote, the way it was perceived. Not for getting her imprisoned wrongly so as to protect the post office reputation, no , the way it is perceived and damages the post office reputation. Have they learnt anything at all, have they have no shame, no dignity, no ability to take any responsibility. My opinion has now changed I want those responsible in custody.

I wonder why so many people bought “fake” stamps from Post Office. Is it a small percentage of sub postmasters are dodgy or POL knows how to get away with it?

MY OH took part in the stamp swap last year they rejected some of hers as fakes despite her buying them from a PO.
now she's sent out some cards using the replacements POL sent her and some of those have been marked as counterfeit
I have a feeling another scandal is brewing

I don't know who this Mr Jenkins is but he's going to get roasted. You don't know him, or you don't know who he is ? Isn't this the guy that gave evidence as an "expert witness" in the main trial ("Bates vs Post Office"), or at least in the trial of the postmistress that was pregnant ? If so, his role / persona was shown in the TV drama. Isn't he also the same guy who had demanded immunity from prosecution before appearing at the inquiry ?
