A scientific discovery that may help many people, why mention anti-vaxers?

Brought to people by scientists not anti-vaxers who seem to know an awful lot about science as well...

A scientific discovery that may help many people, why mention anti-vaxers? Because 'they' (we) were right about everything - so must be ignored. Being correct in the science is the new heresy.

So you're saying anti-vaxers were right about everything ? Let's just get behind them then, it would certainly solve the lack of housing crisis.

I was pretty good in my branch of science, but don't assume I know anything more than Joe Blogs outside my specific field. Unfortunately calling yourself a scientist now seems to imply you know everything about everything.

All vaccines are bad IMO. Don't do vaccines, M'kay? Polio? Tetanus? TB? HPV? If it wasn't for that Edward Jenner, wiping smallpox out from the 1790s, where would humanity be now?

What kind of Science are we talking about? The terrified ones like theories worked by Oppenheimer, or something totally useless which doesn’t improve human development?

That's right - modern 'look-no-hands' virology. Did you know that it took until 1972 for DDT use to be banned in the USA - and that it continues to be used in the Third World in chemically altered forms. A posion in widespread use, that's what causes 'polio' www.vox.com/2015/9/6/9263309/beach-ddt

A posion in widespread use, that's what causes 'polio' DDT causes polio. Gotcha. I mean, there's the subtle point that poliomyelitis was first identified in the 1790s, and the virus in 1909 - oh, and evidence of it has been found in Egyptian hieroglyphics and 4,000 year old archeological sites - while DDT wasn't synthesised until the 1870s and wasn't used as an insecticide until 1939, but... Let's not forget that there's absolutely no scientific evidence of a link, against lots that there's no link at all. But I know you aren't big on actual scientists doing science, and prefer social media conspiracies. No mention in there of polio. Yes, we know that back in the day people did all sorts of bloody stupid stuff that we now know better than. See also: smoking, asbestos, etc.

To be fair to him/her (s)he does not say that DDT causes polio, but that a posion does. As I don't know what a posion is I cannot refute that.

All vaccines are bad IMO. Don't do vaccines, M'kay? I see you're not very good at figuring out the consequences of a radically different past with no vaccines.
I'll give you a clue, if my father was killed in WW2...
m'kay dick, that is your name isn't it.
This used to be a P2P forum about money, I can't be the only one to have noticed the recent trend, there can be 12 hour periods with no posts at all, I wonder why ?
