Actually to me it does not matter whether the valuation will be below or at or over the cap. The UK p2p lending sector is heading for strong growth and an opportunity to invest in Assetz Capital, which are well positioned to participate and profit from the growth, is interesting to me.

Did not like Seed's entry process, nor being forced to have a particular specification, effectively being forced to give up some of my rights, not a nice feeling. Will think on, but good to see that AC has 34% by 4pm

Will think on, but good to see that AC has 34% by 4pm All the equity crowdfunding sites do that - I think it's a requirement. I just wished I hadn't had to register with another one to see what was going on , although I thought it was rather daft that I needed a surname for my 'display name'. Currently waiting for them to approve my display surname of '*'. (Space didn't cut it!) Suspect they started at quite a high percentage - my experience with other pitches on other platforms is that people close to the business are often in for large amounts at the start, so you can't necessarily read too much into that.

Always said you are the people who make AC what it is. Why not give you the opportunity to invest?

Haven't really looked at Seedrs before. I'm being dumb but I can't actually find the termsheet for the convert I'm possibly meant to be investing in? Can't find anything on what happens in a trade sale or aqui-hire? What happens at maturity? Do the notes have liquidity preferences etc etc. I agree. It is my first time at Seedrs too and I was just wondering whether to ask Seedrs or AC these exact questions. For example (in addition to your points) are there pre-emption rights between now and a qualifying round? Also the discount at 2 years of 20% doesn't look very good.
