Just thought I'd ask. Those alien eggheads at base 51 have either taken their eye off the ball (whether that should be singular or triple I'm not sure) or much more obviously have been re-tasked to undo their prior work.

Oh goody, time to put some more money in then .. better than flashy cash-back offers (although always with the early repayment risk). I can actually work the website now after some text resizing and contrast adjusting (maybe RS even helped a bit?).

The 6.5 Q was being nibbled at not so long ago. Funny isn't it, when the rates go up, more money seems to flow in. It's almost like a working market place again!

Glad to see you 'guys' have been having fun in the 5 yr market, I've been matching in the 3 yr market at rates that were 'market rates' in the 5yr a matter of months ago. Have to say I really like the 'instant funding' via debit card, makes life so easy ..... and no I'm not entering/restarting the debate on the debit card use

Card details -> Security page -> back to card details. No error message, definitely right credentials, definitely sufficient funds.

They probably have restrictions on Swiss Debit Cards.

If it fails at the security page it's an issue with the "Verified by Visa" system (or Mastercard equivalent). I've had the same thing happen and got the transaction put through by phoning my card issuer.

That was the thing - it didn't "fail", it appeared to succeed - but then went back to the card details page, with nothing debited and nothing credited. Three attempts, two browsers.
Update: Tries again, fails again, speaks to bank... And, yes, it was a bank problem. Hiho.

Well I had a bunch of matches late yesterday in both 5 year and 3 year: and now the money is sitting back in my account as Unmatched. Which presumably means the borrower(s) pulled the associated loans ?
I don't think I've ever had a situation before where I've been notified of a match which didn't then complete. Should I be suspecting those alien eggheads again ?

The 3 year market was being advertised at 5% last night, but there was no money available. I put £2k on the market, but this morning it was still unmatched, the advertised rate was down to 4.8%, and there was still no money above 4.7%.
I had one of my monthly payments matched at 4.7% on the 3 yr this morning, but it's looking very grim all round at the moment with no borrowers anywhere except the £13.5K at 5.9% for 5 years.

Is it a known behaviour to have matches which are then subsequently pulled ? I assume this isn't a case of learnt behaviour from Flaky Computers.

It happens from time to time as borrowers decide not to complete the deal. Today's going rates seem to be 4%, 5% and 6.2% on 1/3/5 year markets. Quite acceptable to me, though I notice that the amount of cash flowing out so far this week is lower than average so perhaps downward pressure will resume later in the week.
