I spotted it and then did AI. I will not do that again as it is very easy to make a mistake but I wanted to see AI work and it did

I will not do that again as it is very easy to make a mistake but I wanted to see AI work and it did Congratulations on the purchase/s, but having zero exposure to this loan myself and AIM's setup for the past couple of days (along with others I'm sure), the process you used to buy loan parts only highlights that AI does not work as it should. chris's input would be appreciated. I can tell you that as of right now there is only one user with an instruction to buy on that loan that is correctly authorised (e.g. advanced settings are disabled or allow aftermarket buy is ticked) and that they have a target £50 above their current position. So two sales of £100 loan units, as it sounds like walktall7 picked up, wouldn't have been picked up by that instruction. No problems with AI that I am aware of.

After a few hours the E T*****y ended up selling despite more negative info.
I did my first sale since the Auto invest started. Selling an odd amount of Boiler 4 that I picked up as a temp home for part of the E T*****y I sold. It sold instantly. Looks like there no chance of outrunning the Auto Invest on the Aftermarket.

........ Looks like there no chance of outrunning the Auto Invest on the Aftermarket. I manually picked up 1K of Anglesey yesterday perhaps those using AI are all topped up with that loan?

I picked up £1k of this via AI, and a further £1k manually. All of which will reappear on the AM when my next shadow bid needs settling so get your AIM's setup if you want some of the action ! ( I have been holding a high cash balance on the account whilst I have been on holiday to cover potential shadow bid calls, and I'm now looking for temporary homes for this money )

Was your AIM for GD tranche 3 or 4? I've got AIMs set up for both but only picked up GD4 so far

I have been holding a high cash balance on the account whilst I have been on holiday to cover potential shadow bid calls... This brings up an interesting issue, and it really makes the need for a global AI on/off switch urgent. mrclondon left a high cash balance in his account while he was on holiday in case some of his shadow bids needed settling. But he also must have turned off most -- if not all -- of his AI instructions because if he did have AI instructions active he would run the risk of his balance being used by AI and therefore not being available for his impending shadow bids. In the future, I can imagine that lenders would have a long list of AI instructions active, and it would be a royal pain to have to go in and edit all of them to stop them from using up funds that are being held for another purpose. A global AI on/off switch would fill the need very easily. And if it were possible to add a tiny bit more sophistication to the switch, it could be set to leave a specified amount of funds available for other purposes. In mrclondon's case, he could set it to leave him enough free funds to cover all his shadow bids, but still pick up some AM parts if he had more cash than that in his account, either via borrowers' payments credited while he was on holiday or because he was trying to increase his loan book. Is this possible chris?

... they have a target £50 above their current position. So two sales of £100 loan units ... wouldn't have been picked up by that instruction. It seems pretty obvious that having a target less than £100 above one's existing position is extremely unlikely to result in an AM purchase, but I can see no way -- other than editing each entry in my long list of AI instructions -- to determine whether I have any AI instructions that fall into that category. Is there a feasible way to tell?
