A lot of 15844 offered at 4% discount on SM am I missing something ? Bought some anyway !
Seller is FC Property Finance sold/selling in excess of £30,000.
Why now? Why such a discount ? I bagged 2 but can't get it to let me buy any more. Fat finger problem is my guess

Why now? Why such a discount ? FC trying to ditch their excess I guess - seems rather unsporting them selling at such a high discount tho (thought they were supposed to be selling them off at par, and as we know they never change their policies )

Try buying one now! I went down as far as p18 and got the same message ...SOLD, hard luck.
Edit: YES!! Got one on p17 then one on p14 with random pokes ..... also about ten more "SOLD, hard luck" responses. I've run out of repayments cash now.

Yes, FC is the seller. Better than cash back!

Looks like someone meant to sell at -0.4% to be at the top of the pile for that loan on the SM and put in -4% instead.

They have been marked up to -2%
EDIT: It is probably a flip.

Looks like someone meant to sell at -0.4% to be at the top of the pile for that loan on the SM and put in -4% instead. That would be an expensive mistake (3.6% of £30,000 is £1,080). Were they all sold, or did FC manage to withdraw some. There's now a few £100 chunks available at a 2% and 0.9% discounts. Flippers seeking a quick 2% profit?

Will FC buy them back at 2% discount to reduce their losses?

I suggest that anyone who bought the £100 chunks in the feeding frenzy checks that they received all those that they paid for. Not such a good deal after all, it seems, when FC sell some of their own parts twice.

My two lumps are safely in my portolio and if I sell them at par I'll get £201.04 (apparently) less fees. As I only paid £193.04 I'll hold for a while.

I also picked up a couple but fear the double selling glitch. Have never been on the buy-side on those daily "rare cases" so don't know how they decide which buyer gets to keep the part.
