I imagine Frantic Cashiers realised they are going to need every penny they can get to bail out the current clutch of loans in a few days time!

Amazingly, both my accounts are still in balance. Will be interesting to see how long my £100 chunks take to sell at par, as I usually only buy £20s. I may give them a helping nudge once the best discount gets back to -0.3% or so; after all, I'm not greedy

My two lumps are safely in my portfolio. Too much information there, Grumps. It seems that 1% cash back on property loans is becoming the norm. So there should be a regular supply of 2% cash back loans for those more difficult to place.

I haven't checked recently whether I am in balance. Do you have a pint of ale in each hand ? If so you are in balance.

Tonight it was two pints of Burton Bridge Sovereign Gold, but one at a time! (Not quite the old "balanced diet" theory!)

17546, 12 months, 1% CB, should have been a 10 percenter but it's 9.5%. More experimentation.

Probably the fixed rate is a noose round their neck.

Probably the fixed rate is a noose round their neck. It's a property development loan and so they can set the rate where they wish. Having looked at the first image of completed developments on the investor report I am happy to avoid supporting such bad taste, even in Luton.

I think its more an A+ than an A so I am in for the term. I am sure it will fit in very nicely with Luton. You can take that in which ever way you like.

The question is: At 9.5% will it flip? 9262 Tewkesbury @ 9% has been an absolute dog.

You can currently buy A+s on the SM cheaper than As .. although all such distinctions are probably rather imaginary anyway.... of course new chums won't know that, and will go for the nice safe A+s.
