Down to 5 loans with parts on offer... 174 has an update suggesting it will go live today, but this is getting quite 'lean' There was over £300k of 165 less than a week ago, but now none. Wonder who has been buying it? Round up the usual suspects... GBBA and QAA, as I expect this loan should qualify for both. I do, however, question the idea of the GBBA since people are reporting their GBBAs to be under-invested at the moment. With so much of #165 having been available since the GBBA was launched, I'd guess that most GBBAs started out overweight in that loan. I wonder if the GBBA loan part purchasing algorithm is allowed to overweight in a particular loan, but only for a certain amount of time. If it hasn't been able to rebalance when that time is up then it sells any excess and, since there's nothing to replace what's sold, the accounts end up under-invested. It's times like this when it would be really useful to be able to see exactly what is being held on one's GBBA easily so that you could see which loans, if any, are overweight.

My GBBA is selling 165. The is a perl script in the pink pages written by Dave which provides details on what you have. I used a slightly different script... I've seen the thread about dave's perl script, but I've never given it a try, mainly because I don't understand it well enough. That's obviously my problem, but I think it's reasonable even when dealing with 'hands-off' investors that some will want to know what they've invested in. I accept that AC don't want to complicate the GEIA/GBBA interfaces, and that's a reasonable aim, but I don't think it would be unreasonably confusing to add a button that would lead to a list of holdings. Most might ignore it, but a single click would produce the info for those who want to see it. And that, IMHO, would qualify as "easily".

I don't use daves script simply because my perl is so rusty and I like to understand a script before running it. Hence I wrote my own. AC could argue that it doesn't matter what's in GBBA as the PF means you shouldn't care. If it were better balanced and getting more actually invested I would be more likely to agree with that answer. At least with GBBA it is possible to manually or script it to work out what is there, QAA swept funds don't have that information. Ultimately it's a decision for AC... Do they want to have building society like account or show a little more of what is under the hood?

My understanding is that traditional managed funds are obliged to provide the list of assets making up the net asset value, so why shouldn't these new fangled P2P funds?

As AC have stated the various compliance officer reviews of these accounts, it would be interesting to get a view from them?

Hmm ... loan #174 has disappeared from the 'Upcoming Loans' list but has not appeared in 'Live loans', and more worryingly the loans's url is returning a 404 page not found errror.
So either drawdown is in progress, or its been pulled.

It's in UNITS AVAILABLE but for me, at least, it's stuck at £471,250.00 available - i.e. my buy instruction is being ignored ? I'm in the same position. It had better fill my order from some of those available units or else I may become grumpy!

If it is, then it has to work out how to distribute the available parts. The good news is that at least 74% of the loan has been released.

GBBA/QAA dont seem to have moved either which implies nothing is happening as surely some cash would come out of QAA and its GBBA suitable

I for one am not impressed. The GBBA/QAA just ate the whole loan in a few bites. No chance for me to invest as I wanted to. This is the lack of liquidity to us MLIA users that I was worried about.

Did you have your order in before draw down? I guess there were a lot of buyers - it has been on the future loans list for about 4 months.
