It's what happens on most of the platforms' forums (fora?), and not a problem for me .. it means I can 'subscribe' to one thread and get updated on all the new loans appearing ... otherwise I'd have to subscribe to a whole bunch of threads (before they exist. 8>.) I do think =detailed= rambling about each individual new loan might best have a thread of its own, with the mega-thread just used for 'heads up, here's a new one to talk about', or 'something significant changed'. I agree with this. AC board is better than say Abl which has updates in threads which are much more randomly named or on the 'wrong' thread. Please don't head that way.

#278 has drawn down and I received my allocation -- which was limited to £89.65 -- at 1520 today.
That allocation seems rather low for a £551k loan, but I guess that most of it has been reserved for the GBBA/QAA/30DAA accounts. Hopefully some of that will be released to MLIAs over the coming weeks.

My wife's GBBA account picked up the same amount of £89.65, which I don't believe to be a coincidence since the account subsequently spent its remaining £180 on other loans. Fully invested again

Sorry guys, but really! Is a 96 page forum thread (Edit : now 97 )a good idea? How much good and relevant information is there in this thread which will never be read? Please can we have one thread per loan, started when it is first listed. Then have all postings for that loan in that one thread. Then we can have other threads for other specific topics. That way all threads will be appropriately focused and we can decide what we want to read and discuss more easily. Humongous generic rambling threads like this just do not work for me. Perhaps the Mods could arrange to set up a new thread each month?

280 - another Welsh restaurant.
I'm tempted to have a small punt, but can't see how the money adds up. The place was sold for £1.5m in 2008 (£200k still outstanding), new owners went bust and the previous owner wants to buy it back for £400k, but needs to borrow £280k towards the purchase.
So the obvious question is if they received £1.3m in 2008 but only have £120k to fund the deal, where did the other £1.18m go?

A new loan just added to pipeline.... 7.2m. No rate, security etc, so no idea of which accounts it will be eligible for or of its attractiveness and will take a while before it goes live, but at that size, it could help clear out a few queues!

7 loans on the upcoming page with >£3m due to draw tomorrow.
Not certain about 319. Two journo's with gross income of over £500k rack up large tax bill (in part due to a phobia of brown envelopes?).

One wonders, if they are so disorganised so as to not pay HMRC, will they be organised enough to pay the loan?

Well, what would you say about a couple of brothers (#324) who seem to have had 6 CCJs in recent years and now would like £420k of our money?

Anyone from Assetz want to give an update of expected drawdowns for Sep? Did you see any noticeable Brexit slowdown? Are you expecting to up the run rate to Xmas as I still have a lot of money stuck on quick access looking for a home and I can't leave it there for ever?

Cor blimey. Don't tell me a 2.3mil loan only got as far as £371 quid each. Huh? Where's the rest of it?

AC have yet to give me a decent reason why I should try to reinvest my repayments. They still can't invest them all despite months (years?) of promising an adequate deal flow. What are they going to advise us to do when the batch of wind turbines pays back in the near future? Even their more recent safer/lower rate ( !) loans are already beginning to default; we might just as well take the extra risk on dodgy twelve percenters (who smack bottoms ) and posh pawn purveyors.
